I thought the sushi was great! I came here for my birthday and got the Alaskan Roll and one of the special rolls. They both had good flavor and a nice amount of fish in them.
I will definitely get sushi here again but this might be more of a take-out place. The inside was really small and narrow so you end up sitting very close to other people. I also had no idea where to park - maybe I missed something but I had to park in the nearby neighborhood several blocks away.
I have no idea what most of the reviewers are talking about.  The sushi is very good and fresh (I eat rolls but that is not a good way to judge a place like this).  This has become the ONLY sushi restaurant I eat at in  NJ  (i havent tried Shumi in somerville).  And while this is NOT at the level of Tomoe, Seki or Gari... it is a level above anything else I have tried in NJ.  And the prices are a lot lower than NYC (not as lower as other local sushi restaurants but a way better value).  Not a great atmosphere, but if you are there for the sushi, this is a solid option.
It is busy so you could easily be turned away without a reservation
