Panera Bread

I went to Panera for lunch. I had the u pick two : 1/2 soup 1/2 salad . I chose the  signature Thai chopped chicken salad. It had romaine lettuce, cashews, fire roasted  edamame, red peppers, carrots , fresh cilantro, & wanton strips tossed in a spicy Thai chili vinaigrette and drizzled w/ peanut sauce. If u like a spicy dressing then u will love this! It's sweet and spicy. but not too hot. It came with a baguette and because I did the 1/2 1/2 I also got the broccoli cheddar soup it had real pieces of broccoli in it yum ! My daughter had the full portion of mac n cheese. It was made with  Vermont  white cheddar sauce over shells.It was very creamy and delicious.and she also chose a baguette. If u don't want a baguette , u have a choice of natural chips or an apple.  My advise is the lines get very long at Panera. Before u go look up the menu so u have an idea of what u want and what kind of bread  u want it on so u don't hold up the line if its at lunchtime. There are so many variations! This is a place I have never yelped but have been to many many times and will keep coming back!

The worst Panera Bread .. infact the worst food ever ... Dint have half of the food ... Which we weren't informed until we had placed our order .. No side breads !! No tomato soup !! No bread crumbs !! No pickle !!! And the  the manager was rude !!! The bean soup we got was cold !! Waste of a night out with frnds as well as. $100 !!! Should shut down the franchise at once ... Lots of more censored words for the staff !!!  .... IN Short pathetic

It seems like the food quality at Panera Bread has gone down. I used to work at Panera Bread (at one of their very first restaurants) and they used to be BIG on quality, service and freshness. Welp, not anymore.
The prices have increased but the quality has gone down. I ordered the "You Pick Two" special. Half tuna fish on honey wheat with Asian sesame chicken salad with extra dressing.
First, the cashier was on her cell phone texting. I started off my order by telling her that my food was "to go" and after she took my order she asked me, "Is it for here or to go." I seriously hate repeating myself but I did in this case.
Second, I picked up my food and I decided to "eat in" instead. Luckily I did. They didn't give me any napkins and the bread they gave me (I guess it was for the salad) appeared to have been wrestled away from a rat. There was a big chunk missing. How dare they serve another human being something like this?
I just pushed the bread aside and decided to let it go and eat my lunch. The sandwich looked sloppy and the portion I was given didn't look like it could fill a toddler. Oh and lo and behold...they didn't give me my extra dressing. And unfortunately I was not surprised. I had to get up a second time to get extra dressing.
Panera Bread needs to go back to their original core values..quality, service and freshness.
