Hinari Sushi

In my opinion, best sushi in the area. Very fresh, and creative rolls. The Volcano and Mount Fuji rolls are absolutely delicious. The more simple rolls like tuna California, the Philly roll, or the spicy white tuna are very tasty. The rolls taste fresh, and seem very balanced. As good as Taka in Summit, if not better. The prices are very decent. I am a big fan of Sushi, and have been to some of the best in NYC. I eat regularly at Komegashi in JC, and Sushi lounge in Hoboken. Blue Ribbon and Taste of Tokyo are my two absolute favorites in Manhattan. I know sushi, and I give Hinari a thumbs up. The new owners are very friendly, and very nice people. Highly recommend!

Love the sushi and the rolls..  Must try the spicy seaweed salad and the salmon is one of the best in the area. The only minus is the size of the dining room but other then that excellent sushi..And its BYOB

This place is excellent. I would give it 4 and a half stars if Yelp provided a half star option.

Great variety, special rolls are awesome, fairly priced, great for takeout or eating there, portions are nice but it's also really good quality, staff is always friendly and every time I've went to eat there we order a lot and next thing I know the chef hooks it up with something special compliments of him.

These are newer owners BTW. I believe they've been there about a year and a half now.

The old Hinari was spotty and had really basic and limited selection and it was just OK.

Hinari compares at least even to Kyoto 2 in Union, which in my humble opinion is another excellent sushi restaurant.

I like Hinari and Kyoto 2 better then Sakura in Millburn, which is also very solid, but overpriced due to location and just not up to the standard of these other two.

Highly recommend this place if you live in the area or pass it.

They should really do something about that.
