Very short, quick review. Was flying back to California after visiting family in NJ for the holidays and took the cut off through Springfield off of I-78 to Route 22 as I had to get gas and saw the Antonio Mozzarella Factory. Doubled back and was glad I did.
Instead of buying something inside Terminal C to eat on the five our torture session that now passes for United Airlines, I stopped in and ordered a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. First off, it was huge so I decided to eat half and save the rest for the plane ride home to California.
Contrary to what others have written, the mozzarella was excellent, and simply impossible to find in all but a handful of places in Southern California. The prosciutto was sliced a bit thick for my taste but was delicious. Add a pasta salad, an orange cream soda, and two cookies and I was out the door for about $15, not at all unreasonable in my opinion, especially as I literally made this my lunch and dinner. (Consider what $7-$8 buys on the plane.)
