OK, Dan K.  Next time I go somewhere and there's nothing going on inside and the doors are locked during normal business hours I will assume they had a fire.  The one star was for the disappointment of the place being closed, not because I felt like being a dick.  Thanks for your neighborly concern.  You should publish a neighborhood newsletter so I never make this  mistake again.  Still not open as of July 10th.  Still waiting for neighborhood newsletter to advise on re-opening.
UPDATE: Â 27 July and disconnect notices are plastered to the door as well as another sticker stating all other property such as furniture will going to be removed and stored until they can figure out where the owner went. Â Yeah, Dan-looks like the remodeling is going great.
Their quality has gotten progressively worse and now I will no longer order from Giorgio's. I ordered a mushroom and sausage pizza that was so watery I couldn't pick it up without a spatula. I called to ask them about this and they denied it, said they would tell the owner and I never heard back. There are plenty of pizza places that care about the quality of the food they put out.
Review Source:Every so often I find a "find," and I found Giorgio's last night. We chose Giorgio's randomly, essentially because we were in the neighborhood, and it was convenient.
We ordered an Italian beef/sausage combo sandwich and a spaghetti entree. The Italian combo was awesome; not the slightest bit greasy. The last time I'd had a combo this near-perfect was in Bridgeport, which is too far to return for. Hence, my "find." I'll be back for a combo and to try other menu items.
The spaghetti was very good enough, but sort of a skimpy portion for the price. Still, Giorgio's piqued my interest concerning the rest of their food.
Prices: normal. Not cheap, but fair. Service: fast!

I have ordered from there about once a month for the past year, and have always chosen to pick up my order. Â Parking is readily available and picking up is usually much quicker than their delivery. The pizza is always hot and ready exactly when they say it will be and isn't sitting on a rack under a heat lamp when you arrive.

In my neck of the woods, it's hard to find decent pizza that will deliver so it was a fantastic find. We placed the order and were told delivery would be one hour and 10 minutes, so we opted to pick it up. They are located in a strip mall with with a parking lot (and a 7-11!) so pick up was very easy, and getting drinks - ok, a Slurpee - was easy too even though they also sell some two liters at Giorio's. Â $17.50 (with tax) for a 16" thin crust cheese pizza and an order of fried zuccini - and that was without one of their coupons.
The crust was crisp and cooked perfectly, the cheese was in perfect proportion and the sauce was tasty. It could have used a bit of salt, but that's an easy fix. I'm going to hold off on five stars until I try some toppings, but the cheese was a solid 4-4.5. I will absolutely order from Giorgio's again, hands down. It might be the best pizza delivery in my weird neck of the woods!
