Don't be put off by the strip-mall location of this Middle Eastern (Iraqi?) joint. The outside really isn't much to look at, but it's a clean and brightly painted storefront restaurant, with some pretty nice paintings well. I've been here twice, and had the vegetarian combo both times. It's really an appetizer, but it's alot of food and its quite good. The prices are very good as well, with some shawarma dishes topping out around 11.95.
Review Source:I walked into this restaurant looking for something else, so it was by complete accident that I even found it. It's just like a hole-in-the-wall kind of place so I wasn't expecting much.
I was wrong.
Really yummy.
I got the Vegetarian Combo with falafel, hummos, baba ghannouj with salad and soup. Delicious.
The soup was a creamed lentil and it was outstanding with a great consistency.
The hummos was great, too.
But I especially loved t he pita...very good.
So it just goes to show......Don't judge a book by it's cover.
I never would have even stopped here but ya know what?
Glad I did. It was a 5 dollar bill well spent.
