Dawali Mediterranean Kitchen

I LOVE Dawali. The hummus entree is pictured- creamy, filling platter of hummus topped with lamb, beef or vegetables. Request extra pita because though the pita given was substantial- it was fresh and hot and unsharable once you tried it.
I was eating the lentil soup (hearty and perfect for a cold rainy day) with the pita too.

Next time I am going to try the pies. Lamb? Yes Please!

My only whimpering disappointment was that the menu lists Creme Brulee- I am obsessed with Creme Brulee but sadly, after calling was told they have flan.
No Creme Brulee ever.  
The flan was sad. Heck, I am sad.
I'm sorry Dawali, but you can't tease a girl with Creme Brulee like that.
It's easy to resolve: You gotta open that pdf file or white out your master copy and take it back to Kinkos to prevent any future takeout menu heartbreaking misunderstandings.

In the meantime, enjoy the hummus entree- I did!

My boyfriend and I recently order delivery from Dawali through grub hub and had less than pleasant experience...actually food is DISGUSTING!!  We order the Chicken entree and beef shawerma on hummus, because of dietary needs we ordered a side salad instead of the rice (which I can't eat)  with the chicken entree this request was ignored. The chicken wasn't horrible actually pretty tender however the beef shawerma was inedible...the meat was doused in oil and smelled rancid.  Both of us being a huge fan of hummus couldn't stomach to eat it.  It was bland and oily..the texture was awful.  On top of it they refused to refund us.  Thank goodness for grub hub, they refunded us $15 at least.

So, last night at work a few pharmacists and I ordered from Dawali since we wanted something healthy and this place was close to our work..........there was a freaking HAIR in a one of our chicken shwarma sandwiches. Nasty? yes.  I called them to complain and ask for a refund and at first all they offered was a discount on the next meal, which I did not plan on ordering. Then they said their credit card system was 'new' so they could not refund my card.  At the end of the day its not about the money, however there is a certain attitude that Dawali lacks and that has entirely to do with customer satistfaction.

Sorry, all you had to do was care about your customer and you didn't.
