This place is OK. Â I thought it was really expensive ($10 per plate) but they actually give you several meals' worth of food in one order. Â They are friendly and the food is not bad. Â The chicken kebab was fairly moist and the mixed shwarma plate was pretty good as well (actually much better the 2nd day out of the fridge - lots of cardamon flavor in the lamb one).
Review Source:This place is great. I live very close, on lawrence and kedzie, and there are always too many places to choose from when im in the mood for middle eastern. i choose this one because of the 1)friendly service 2)decent waiting time 3)freshness of food 4)wonderful prices 5)good hours. i enjoy eating inside on occasion, and looking at their eclectic art. yes, its no noon o'kabab aesthetically, but its still my best bet. i usually get the baba ganoush and beef shwarma sandwhich, which is only five bucks! (and its big). give it a try if youre in the area.
