Atlantic Bar & Grill

I love this place. Great beer, great food (you have to try the McGinnis burger-best burger I had all my young life), and the greatest bunch of bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

I'm not much for many words, so I'll keep this short:
Good selection of fresh, cold beers from clean taps. The man knows how to pour a Guinness-Guinness lovers will know what I mean.

Awesome bar food and best burgers I've had anywhere-try the McGinnis burger (might be misspelling that). Huge beef patty that melts in your mouth, cheese, corned beef, and sauerkraut. Just awesome. I brought several people there just for the burgers; they didn't believe me, and after they tried one, they were amazed.

The bartenders are the greatest couple of Irishmen I've ever met. I won't go into details; suffice it to say that bartending is a lost art, and there work two of its last practitioners.

The atmosphere and surroundings follow suit. Dark oak bar, fireplace in the front, and a variety of sports on tv-yes, including Tottenham and lots of soccer. I started going there to mainly to watch the Blackhawks-much more fun than my living room.

Go there. Just go there. Try a burger; try a beer. Talk to the barstaff. Just do it. You'll love the place. Enough said.

Food was mediocre and the waitstaff were dicks.  Wanted to use my Scoutmob to try them out fully willing to make up for the discount  with my tip, but the owner refused because the Wednesday, I repeat Wednesday "Simpsons Trivia night" was a special night and he wouldnt accept it.  Again, Beers were super expensive $6 for a domestic beer and food was mediocre.

Great bar to celebrate a friend's b'day on a frosty Saturday night.

It was a little tight in the front area near the door but we definitely made it work with a nice sized group. I noticed there was a huge room in the back that seemed to accommodate huge bday parties.

The guy that seemed to manage/own the place was very nice as he hooked us up with a free round of shots as we told him we were celebrating a b'day. They have a pretty nice beer selection and a really good staff. Would def check thick this place out again!
