Stopping into this little shop on a search for lunch goods led me to a place I will be visiting often. Â The ladies behind the counter are friendly and helpful and a pleasure to chat with. Â I ordered a breakfast burrito which was a hunk of burrito with a simple combo of eggs, potatoes, cheese and bacon. Â It was around $5 but it will keep me full for a good while. Â I'll be returning to not only eat, try their baked goods but to chat to the pleasant ladies.
Review Source:The outside overhead lettering read "Village Deli" or something like that. so i mistakenly posted a review to another business in orinda. my bad.
3 ladies in here excel in smiling, helpful service. came in looking for coffee. didn't see any menus, just saw standing billboard describing grill beef dogs and sandwiches.
pour:"america's best coffee" (2)
-not the usual harsh blend. this blend was primo-smooth, no harshness
-easily competes  with the big brewers.
eats: chocolate chip cookie(1.25)
-very sweet, chewy, lots of chocolate chip
-tastes better than the ones available at the big brewers ( for cheap too!)
drips:
-would definitely repeat, maybe a grilled hot or more cookies
-inside and outside seating....
