Love NIWA.
I've been going to this sushi joint for 15 years.
Frank is the owner- main sushi chef.
Order
Baja California rolls (spicy)
Spicy tuna hand rolls
Cucumber salad
And for sushi- make sure to look at the "specials" menu that is behind the sushi counter- the frank roll is awesome.
For Chinese food- order:
Potstickers
Chow fun
Sizzling rice soup
We are new to the area and my son and I decided to give Niwa a try. I have to say I was skeptical but my son insisted. The sushi was really very good and reasonably priced. We had a California Roll and took the "real crab" option. It was fantastic! Enjoyed a couple of oysters on the half shell prepared a little differently than I am used to but they were great as well. The spider roll was very well done and did not skimp on the soft shell crab.
If you are looking for a hopping atmosphere this will not be the place for you. However, if you are into straight up, really good sushi you need to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
