not gonna lie, I didn't really know what to expect going into Hotoke. Friday evening happyhour-turned-dinnerdate with some hawt guy brought me here, and I'll definitely be back. baller.
sushi lounge with bottle service in new brunswick? I had no idea. great chill spot- big bar, lots of couches, high ceilings. classy.
the appetizers were yummy, the sushi was super delish. no complaints. I've never had steamed pork buns before, so I don't have anything to compare them to, but I could've eaten the ones here forever. for. ev.er.
lounge-y atmosphere, chill vibes... awesome people-watching late-night as the tunes turn up and the tipsy college crowd arrives. nice.

As we were walking down quiet street towards Hotoke, I was expecting your typical sushi place. I was wrong.
Hotoke bar/lounge area at night is grande cool as Woland's Midnight Ball. Do I need to paint a picture?
Dark high ceilings, sheer curtains, red accent lights, comfortable couches, super friendly and cute waitresses.
Drinks and regular sushi rolls were on special till 7pm. Come hungry - those rolls are fresh and done right. Spicy Tuna and Alaska - trust me, delicious.
I love sushi. Here, I said it. I had great time.
