Jelly Cafe

I've been back to this place a couple of times now with girlfriends (and since going gluten free) and I like it better now! The earlier in the day the better (less wait), and even during the week is awesome if you're playing hooky. They have a lot of hearty options that are naturally gluten free. And you can get their gluten free toast which is so awesome. It has seeds and nuts in it like homemade, and isn't just the standard white Udi's sandwich bread. Very guy friendly too because the portions are big (my brother is GF and he goes here all the time).

The biggest part? Their donut holes are now GLUTEN FREE!! Omg. They do cost more, but totally worth it. They are so good and its so fun to go somewhere and have an old treat I used to love, but GF. I highly recommend them! Too bad parking still sucks...

This place apparently just reopened yesterday. I had the basic breakfast with eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast. The waitstaff was very friendly, however, it took wayyy too long for my food to come out. I could understand if it was something complicated, but I basically got the simplest thing on the menu. The food was good, especially the home made jelly...raspberry and perfect consistency.
The atmosphere is your typical trendy/hipster vibe. Very loud and packed. Not a good place to bring a book and read!

Their donut bites are worth a try.
