This was the third time I've had JJ. All at different locations. First time was in Naperville, and I didn't know they had whole grain bread so in was disappointed. Â Second time we ordered in at work and loved the whole grain bread, sprouts and avocado spread (I'm vegetarian). This time, we had it at this location bc I raved abt it o my husband. However, major dissappointment! Â The guy at register was a but rude. Â Then I noticed there. Were no sprouts in my sandwich. Â When I asked they said JJ has been out of sprouts for eight months. Not sure if I believe that bc my second experience was just a few weeks back. Â Plus in was upset they didn't tell me they were out. Then I noticed no avocado spread in my sandwhich. When I asked then they rudely told me it was between the cheese layers. Â Wen I checked there was a small thin layer. Â Needless to say, I won't go back to this one. At least not till I have my hubby try another good location first.
Review Source:When they say "Subs so fast you'll freak," they're not kidding. I ordered a sub online when I was home sick one day, and it was at my door in seven minutes. Even though I only live a mile away, that's pretty darn impressive. I barely had time to get my cash out of my wallet before the freaky fast delivery man had arrived.
Whenever I've been in the store, the workers have been friendly and fast. However, I learned the hard way that I can't handle any of Giant Club Sandwiches - they're literally so full of meat and cheese that they don't fit in my mouth. What a lovely problem to have.
The regular staff who works here is always pleasant and friendly. They're prompt and I like going to this particular Jimmy John's. If any of the regular workers are in here, i always enjoy my experience.
HOWEVER, if here is an old European couple behind the counter, i don't recommend going in AT ALL. They don't exactly work there, and they are the epitome of sheer incompetence. If i happen to see that they are working, I refuse to enter, I'll get Subway instead that day.
But i can't say enough how great the normal employees are.
