Oh Kobo. I've only been once, but my experience was quite good.
I went specifically for a concert, and it was the perfect size for that particular evening. Everyone there was super nice, including the bartender who gave my underage friend and I free water. Nice pool table to pass time, interesting decor. The bathroom is super sketch though, where you are only covered by a curtain. But interesting decor in there as well to me make up for it.
I've also met the owner and he is a pretty cool guy, dedicated to the Columbus music scene.
I'd go back.

Average bar at best if you are looking for a campus-dive bar.
Friendly bartenders but not a deep knowledge of drinks (you're safe with a shot and a beer).
Slightly below average if you're looking for a good show due to set-up and acoustic issues.
More attention paid to the regulars and hipsters, not really a bar for the working person who just wandered in for a drink.

I'm not a big fan of Columbus, but I like this venue, great sound for the size & layout, and a supreme beer selection. If I lived up here, I feel like I would frequent this place.
