  LA Maison has the oldest guy's hanging inside who seems like they never seen women before. Are you sure they are not ex cons? The night we were there about 3 months ago a big fight broke out and I got pushed into a wall. All the posts that you read are from the owner. Don't believe what you read it's an old age home.

  I had a great time and love what they did with the old Fuel!  Pleasantly surprised!  In order to build a more diverse crowd that will draw in a younger feel they shouldn't be charging a cover for guys!  Otherwise, I really hope they do well and I will be back!

  Besides having to wait with 100 people outside for about 30 Minutes it was Awesome! They gave me a Drink Ticket for having to waiting. Digging the friendly staff. And way cheaper than Hwood. Three bottles for the price of one in Hollywood. Never new this spot was here.

  Yesterday we went with friends to LA Maison. Contrary to some reviews this place was fun, full of people, and very far from creepy or sleazy. We got in before 10:30 and did not get charged. The Valet was only $6. There were a bunch of amazing break dancers and good music. Was it the best club we ever went to? NO, but we definitely enjoyed the evening, and we will go there again.

  I honestly loved my experience here last week! A boring dull Thursday turned out to be a rather successful one :) Great service (bartender was amazing & drinks were delicious) and I liked the venue. A perfect spot for a nice night out in the valley. I went with a group of my girlfriends and we had a really enjoyable night. You can tell the owner takes care of this place accordingly and makes sure each night runs smoothly, and I always appreciate that! Can't wait to go back! :)

  Went there Last night with a Buddy; had a blast. Good Dancing. excellent service. The owner was browsing the floor making everyone feel welcome and making sure they were having a good time. Music wasn't too loud-DJ was a little jumpy with the music, the dancers were awesome and very friendly. Over all solid experience, and will defiantly be back there again...

  As a mid 20s guy I can't quite attest to what happens to women, but I thought the spot was cool. I've heard it's been redone and is under new ownership as it is now called La Mason (and the sign now says that as well). Drinks were alright, over priced, but to be expected. Bartenders seemed cool and attentive. There were go-go dancers which was interesting as you don't see that much (one of which was really cool, came by, and said hi. Think her name was Priscilla). Decorated cool and I really liked the outdoor area. I definitely saw the prototypical old creepy guy with bottle service but, also, to be expected at any club. Decently crowded for a Saturday night. I'd go back for sure.

  I was legit fooled.
  
  My friend told me to come by this spot for NYE.  Little did I know... it's R LOUNGE.  I was ready to walk right past it when a friend hollered and asked if I was attending X's event.  I said yes, and she said, "Oh, well, it's here!" as she was pointing to the door of R LOUNGE.  I could not believe my eyes.  How did I end up at R Lounge again?!  
  
  I was DD for my friends.  We're pretty sure one of my girl friend's was drugged by one of the attendees there.  She pretty much blacked out right around 11:30pm and was barfing by 12am.  No recollection of anything after that.  Hmm.
  
  Anyway, this place is still the same R Lounge.  The bartenders won't give you any attention unless you're waiving cash in their face.  They pour crap drinks as most of my friends complained that it was mostly soda in their mixed drinks.
  
  VIP tables are totally not worth the price.
  
  I would not choose to come here -- ever.

  Pretty sure the other two reviews are fake since I stopped in on the same Saturday night and found it dead empty.  Also, the name was still R LOUNGE outside on the front.  So unless the other reviews had telekenesis and somehow knew this venue that says R Lounge outside is actually La Maison, the person writing the new reviews is the new owner who I had the pleasure of meeting...not.  
  
  Anybody who wants to be creeped on by 65 year old men in a bar packed full of 12 people, proceed to La Maison.  All others, keep walking down the block.  Never coming back.  And new creepy owner guy wearing a hat- here's some advice: girls you've never met don't like you trying to touch our legs.  I appreciate the free drink, but it doesn't sign me up for molestation.
