Lan's Cafe

I live around the corner from Lan's and stop in frequently for a quick bite or for some of their delicious rolls (sweet bread roll with raisins! 50 cents!). The food is always good and fairly inexpensive for what you get. I don't know that it would be a destination for someone who lives on the other side of chicago, but if you live nearby its a simple place to get a solid meal.

They are slowwwww. We ordered and it took awhile for our food to come out and there was no one else was in there. For what we ordered, it shouldn't have taken that long.

I ordered a mango freeze and this is the worst fruit freeze I've ever tasted. I didn't even finish and that never happens. My guy got the orange chicken and it wasn't even spicy and the chicken was dry. I had the beef chow funn and the beef was overcooked, but the noodles were fine.

Parking isn't the easiest around here. I think this place is more of a neighborhood stop.

*I also bought a kgbdeals that was $6 for $15 worth of food. When I went, they had signs posted that they were not honoring them and to contact kgbdeals. I did and kgbdeals responded with they resolved the issue and I can redeem my voucher, but I opted for a refund as I think that is bad business.* (This only affected my review alittle as with the service and food would make me not come back.)
