If you want fancy couches, giant TVs, and shiny bowling balls this is not for you. Â But if you want to bowl like you did when you were 10 year old living in central Wisconsin, this is the place! Â The murals of cowboys on either wall set the tone as soon as you enter - this is no Brunswick Zone. Â There are only screens at eye level, no fancy over head TVs, but hey they at least do a cool animation when you get a strike. Â There are two choices of tap beer, miller lite and MGD...are you sure we aren't in Wisconsin? Â But by far the best is the pizza. Â Don't know what kind it is but it is good! Â Our group had cheese curds and they were not so good, so maybe we are not in Wisconsin.
Three games, two shoe rentals, one pizza, and two pitchers of beer brought us to $46 dollars. Â Seems fair enough to me.
I would come here again for some cheap bowling and good fun.
Heck ya. Â This is a great place to bowl. Â It wasn't super crowded..games dont' cost too much and they have awesome murals of cowboys on the wall. Â What else do you need?
My friends and I had a blast at this place. Â I had reserved lanes earlier in the week and when I got there they were ready. Â The technology is a little dated but I think that makes it even more fun. Â
The music was super awesome too. Â We were all singing to the hits. Â
Next time I go bowling I will think twice about going to my staple Park Tavern.
We have our own shoes and balls so I don't really have an idea of the cost... but, it's a great neighborhood bowling alley that is well maintained. They have beer and wine, as well as bowling favorites like popcorn, nachos, Heggies Pizzas, and munchies like french fries, onion rings, etc. Lanes are clean and well taken care of. It feels like a blast from the past with the 70's & 80's music (which I love of course...). No problem with service; someone was running the food & beverages, and someone else runs the bowling. We bowl once a week normally. Cheaper than Southtown Lanes for sure!
Review Source:Your typical bowling alley with cheap games and an abundance of beer. Their radio blasts the basic top 40 with a sprinkling of country, heartbreaking ballads and the occasional flashback to the 70s or later. Late night features atomic bowling.
A group of four friends and I came here on a Saturday night. Two games and shoe rental ran us $10 per person. The first machine was broken, so we had to switch lanes. It wasn't hard since only half the lanes were taken at 11pm. It took longer to locate a decent ball, since many of their free ones aren't in the best condition; however, they will do the trick if you're just looking to have some fun.
By midnight the place had pretty much been cleared out. We kicked it up a notch and had our own dance party while we bowled. I think we scared the staff good. Beer helps. That will run you about $3-4 a bottle. They offer other alcoholic drinks and you can order pitchers and food. Not too shabby.
