The bison pot pie was good but a lot of food. The fish was a little overcooked, but still tasty. Out of first wine we ordered, but the suggested alternative was fine.

It was much better than some of the other reviews would suggest. This was for a business dinner for 12. We were seated in the back room by the fireplace. It started out quiet until  a group attending a convention were seated. They had a nice wine list, but didn't seem to have inventory of the wines listed. Our first selection was our of stock. We continued to run them out of inventory for 2 more selections. Unfortunately they don't have appetizer platters suited for large groups so we made due by ordering the cheese plate, lobster thai rolls, and Hawaiian tuna poke. They were all great. For the main course, I had the macadamia encrusted sea bass which is one of their signature dishes. Excellent choice. For dessert, finished with a nice glass of Balvenie. Our waiter made some excellent suggestions for wines and main courses.

Husband has been trying to get me to agree to go here but I kept refusing because of the reviews. We finally went on a Saturday night recently. We made a reservation via Open Table a couple of hours in advance but it was completely unnecessary. At 8 pm, this place was pretty empty. It was also freezing cold. We were in the absolute middle of the place, not at all close to any windows or exterior walls. It seems like most reviewers complained about the service. Honestly, that was the best part of our meal. Our waiter was attentive and courteous.

Food was hit or miss but definitively slow to arrive at our table.  (Give this was a slow night, I can't imagine what would happen if they were actually busy.) Steak tartar was pretty good. My soy ginger tuna was amazing, perfectly rare and worked beautifully with the accompanying rice. The plate also included fried green beans. (What the hell, is this Friday's?) They were edible but a little greasy. Maybe the fry oil wasn't hot enough. Husband had a special that included a tomato risotto. It was almost really good but the kitchen went a little too heavy on whatever sweetening agent was in it.

Overall, the experience was better than I expected given the other reviews but it definitively didn't do enough for me to what to return. There are too many other places in town that are better.
