Two friends and I decided to visit Tigin's for some late evening drinks. Â The place was almost empty. Â The atmosphere was more pub than restaurant, but that was o.k., since we really came to drink. Â Our waitress, although fun, didn't know much about the beverages on the menu.
We ordered some different beers, and a couple house specialty shots. Â The shots were fantastic. Â The waitress was leaving for the evening and asked us to close out the bill with her. Â Not a problem, but we were completely ignored after she left. Â We did order one serving of garlic fries. Â They were good.
Good, albeit typical stateside Irish pub. I stop by at least once or twice every St. Louis trip. Great outdoor patio area for being outside and people watching while enjoying a pint.
Don't know about the rest of the week but I arrived shortly after 9am on a Saturday and they were open, the yelp page indicates they don't open until 11am.
The inside is nice and open. Â The service was pretty good. Â They have some tasty local beer on tap. Â I would give them 4 stars but I'm not a soccer fan. Â I didn't really know that this was a soccer based bar until it was to late. Â They don't have a lot of TV's and the ones they had were strictly for soccer, no cardinals game no basketball playoffs nothing. Â So needless to say I ate my pulled lamb French dip sandwich, and guzzled my tasty beer and left. Â A little emerresed I brought my boss here with the table that rocked back and forth and they didn't have the game he wanted to watch.
