Lux Chateau Hookah Lounge

Pretty decent place if you want to get a Hooka into your system in the west burbs.  I liked the service and the recommendations provided, also found the crowd to be tame.  These guys also make good hot beverages, and I particularly like the Egyptian Tea.

I'm only giving this place a three because I've had a large range of experiences here. The atmosphere is great and the cages are fun for a little bit of privacy if you don't mind the increased price. The servers usually are very polite and check back often. Also if you go here be sure to get an Indian tea, they make it wonderfully. Now to the reason I'm only giving it three stars, my friend I went in here and sat in one of the cages where the minimum is $13 a person. They have us a mya econo pumpkin hookah which are very small (only about 13 inches high) and when I asked the guy for a nicer one he said no that that's all we could have. Excuse me but I have multiple hookahs at home, part of the fun of going to a hookah lounge is the nice hookah and the service. Finally after some argument we got a nicer hookah but then when we asked for bubbles they said they were out. At this point I was getting annoyed but we decided to let it go, then the server never checked back on us to get us a refill. Finally we were annoyed and upset and just decided to leave despite the fact we had not hit our minimum. The guy up front just charged us $26 without mentioning this which was bothersome to me, I felt like we were getting ripped off because at most other places they'd give you a soda or a redbull or something to take on the road. It's not necessary of course but it just made me feel like they were just interested in getting our money and getting us out of there which was upsetting because I usually have such great experiences here. From that day on I've still had very mixed experiences here. I've just started going to various places in the area because you never know what you're going to get at Lux.
