Run don't walk... The other way.
Went there on a Friday night with my wife and my sister. Â Dark, smoking IS allowed. Â Drinks were horrible, lots of liquid, but no taste just burned on the way down.
20% surcharge (mandatory tip) if you sit at a table.
We left after our drinks were done since the band was so loud we couldn't even talk to each other.
We won't be going back.
Happy Hour on a Wednesday-just a handful of customers there. Well made martini-$2 off for HH is nice. Smooth jazz on the sound system-even some smooth jazz Christmas music thrown in-but no Christmas decorations in evidence (not that that's a bad thing). Good place for after work relaxing.
Review Source:I have seen the Ups and Downs of Martinis and More.  Years ago, I used to make the hike to the Woodlands to meet my North side girlfriends and get away from inside the loop.  Martinis and More was lively, fun, and had a pretty young crowd. Now, its a bit of an older crowd (35+) but  they still have some GREAT bands (Luther and the Healers, ect) and some darn good Martini's.  The place is dark, and small, a good place for a date, and they have a good selection of martinis and cocktails.  I would like to see more variation on the wines, but hey, its a martini bar, not a wine bar, so.....Will continue to stop in here when I am on the North Side, as it is an old favorite.
Review Source:Went here for a Girl's Night Out. We tried a variety of Martnini's and they have some good ones. Â Great, NON-SMOKING (yippee) atmosphere. Â Wednesday is ladie's night so our drinks were 1/2 price- that was a pleasant surprise. Â Limited appetizer menu and not impressed with the selection. Â Didn't have a band the Wednesday we went but hopefully that isn't the norm. Â Overall, if you want a nice, relaxing atmosphere to hang out with your friends this is a good place to go but do not go hungry or looking to meet new people.
Review Source:Went here one night on a whim with the wife for a romantic evening out (away from the kids). Â Definitely an older crowd here. Â If Baker St. is the place frat boys go to die, this is their heaven. Â
Drinks averaged $10. Â They have about 100 different "martini" varieties and, of course a full bar. Â There are multiple scotches on the menu - 12 years old and up - all the Glens and some others. Â I ordered one on the rocks and got a double. Â Food is mostly appetizers.
Waitstaff was a little busy the night we were there, the place was packed. Â I had to go to the bar to get water because our waitress never brought it to us. Â
The music that night was great. Â A full band and two women singing doing motown classics and some recent stuff. Â They really got the crowd involved and made it a definite experience.
This is a clean well kept establishment. Â If you are with a group and want to find a nice place with reasonable prices and great service this might be a 5 star location for you.
If, on the other hand, your looking for night life and a place to go to meet new people this is not so much the place. Â Customer service will still be great but the live music is clearly "C" list entertainment. Â The dance floor is too small and the crowd is not so much into mixing.
