I have been there once, got takeout rolls. They have a deal any 3 rolls for 9.95 USD, so I used it. Sushi was not very good, fish was not very fresh although it was midday. But at least it was cheap, so didn't hurt much.
If you want quick sushi, but don't want to get it from Shop Rite then, Miyako is the place. Price is either same as SR's or a bit cheaper, but at least you will get to see the chef rolling them.
Best Sushi I've ever eaten. The fish is fresh, the rice is made correctly and pressed properly, and the service is perfect. With all due respect to Mrs S who wrote a 3 star review to this place, she made an incorrect rating because she chose to eat her sushi with brown rice and its not meant to be eaten that way which made it taste worse. The environment is welcoming and quiet, byob is accepted, Miyako will continue to be my first choice for sushi.
Review Source:My Fiance and I had a good experience here. The waitress was very attentive, food was bought out quickly and she checked on us from time to time but not to the point where it go annoying. We didn't feel rushed out. We had a nice time and spent about 30 minutes after our food was taken away enjoying a cocktail and relaxing. VERY VERY REASONABLY priced!!
The Food- it was Above Average. I cannot RAVE about it because it wasn't the best sushi I have ever had. They do have a brown rice option which is always a plus for those of us who stick to our guns with whole grains. There could have been more veggies/fish inside each roll - the serving size of the protein was a bit stingy - but all in all we would go back and try some of the other things aside from Sushi.
Place is on the newer side. For a Saturday it was quiet but a nice atmosphere in comparison to some of the Westfield hot Spots!!
Very clean and well maintained. Everyone smiled and greeted you - those things are priceless!!
