Monty's on Montgomery

Made the mistake of accepting a challenge and traveling back in time to the days of mind erasers, liquid cocaines, and fake red bull vodkas. Ooops. On the positive side, this place has seriously cheap drinks. I drank like a 21 year old at a frat party and  my tab didn't touch triple digits. That would never happen downtown. On the negative side, it's in NorHood with street parking, a little Caesar's across the street, and was chock full of plastered college freshmen. In fact, as I was walking up to the entrance, they were throwing a guy out of the bar and literally into the street. Six cop cars showed up 15 minutes later to investigate. Interesting night to say the least.

What can I say about our Wednesday night Boys Night Out place other then I LOVE IT. Its the perfect hole in the wall place, sit at the bar and before the night is done your a regular. Plus who can stay away from the free popcorn!

Beer and wells are super cheap $3.50 or less, pitchers are around $7 but go on sale during Xavier games. Drinks are always strong and there is a great variety of flavored vodka's. Special thanks to Rita our bartender, she is great for learning new shots. Every week we go in she is always making us some new concoction, I'm always amazed at what she does.

There is happy hour, but we like to show up around 9 at night. There is a new Touch Tunes juke box so you can order music from your smartphone app. They have a WII and karaoke on certain nights, check there facebook for details on when it is as it changing. Parking is on the street, but we always park at the LIttle Ceasars across the street and get a pizza or cheese bread to take in the bar.  They have foosball, darts, pool, free popcorn and super strong drinks. Come on down and make a friend!

Went here last night (1/7/12) with my buddies that live within walking distance, we arrived after half time of the Lions-Saints game when we arrived there was probably around twenty people here.  I ordered a Vodka Tonic it was made with Sky Vodka and the drink was strong.

The beer selection here is good and the prices for the drinks are very reasonable like $3.50 a drink. The Juke Box is a new one and modern.

The darts and Foosball are fun games to play and we can't forget the free popcorn and the characters here.
