  We had my son's 9 year old birthday party at Mystery Street and it exceeded any expectations i had.  From the moment I booked the party, Joe was helpful and great to deal with.ALL the kids had the best time singing, being creative and listening to themselves sing on their take home CD.  The time flew by as everyone sang, smiled, laughed and enjoyed a great experience! Thank you Joe!!!!

  I've been playing music for a while, in Chicago and elsewhere, and Mystery St is my favorite studio/rehearsal space. Owner/engineer Joe Tessone is the consummate professional: he'll help you get the sounds you're looking for at a reasonable price. Chicago musicians: avoid Mystery St. at your own peril.

  Recorded here with my band and have known the owners for a long time, great guys, very knowledgeable. Ton of my friends have recorded and practice there. Very affordable! Check um' out!

  So I'm in a band. Yeah, I'm cool like that.
  
  We make noise. We try not to annoy our neighbors.
  
  We rehearse at Mystery Street Recording. They have one bonafide practice space and two recording studios (A and B) that you can rent for $15-$20 per hour.
  
  So we do. Some of the time. Sometimes they don't answer the phone. Sometimes they don't return their messages. That makes it difficult to book a spot.
  
  When they do, they're cool. We go. We practice. We pay them. They say thanks.
  
  Rock 'n roll, man.
