Off Broadway is a fun, intimate venue that gives you that live experience that the big venues cannot. Â It's a dark and dingy joint tucked away in the Lemp District. Â It usually caters to local bands and crazies. Â Relatively cheap cocktails and definitely cheap beer. Â Plenty of standing/sitting/dancing room. Â No attitude from the staff. Â There is a nice smoking area outside with table & chairs, which also has a secondary bar in it. Â Off Broadway is just a fun place to go get rowdy and support local music.
Review Source:I can't believe I have never done a review for Off Broadway. Well..here.we.go.
Off Broadway is part of St. Louis, period! Â I recently saw one of my favorite bands of 2012 at Off Broadway to a sold out crowd. Â The recent upgrades to the bar offered up a lot more room and the crowds are always so much fun.
When I was there recently they were highlighting some New Belgium brews (Fat Tire) so you definitely can enjoy a great band along with a fine brew.
One last tip: Make sure you use their paid secure lot across the street for parking.
Bottom line: Great bands play here. Off Broadway = A fine St. Louis music establishment.
