Inside is like an English pub (quite realistic feel to it having been to a few real English pubs). Â Lots of dark wood and the bar area. Â It's fairly dimly light inside. Â
Wait staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions. Â I appreciate when they keep my water glass full. Â They are known for their fish & chips here, which is what I ordered. Â Loved the all you can eat portion, but really just the first order was quite enough. Â Others liked their quesadillas and reuben sandwiches. Â Â Portion sizes are good size. Â Since we were celebrating a birthday, we did order a pecan crusted ice cream ball as well as the fried snickers. Â I suggest passing on the snickers. I love snickers bars, but its like the wrap in a think tortilla wrap than deep fry it. Â Go for the ice cream ball, if you are looking for a dessert.
I go here all the time and I am never let down. Service even when busy is first rate. Lots of regulars eat here and the place can get loud. This place is pretty dark like a Pub should be. Drinks are strong and a Dirty Martini is made correct. Beer offerings are well thought and the servers know whats available. I have been here dozens of times and have not ever been disappointed with the food or service.  Fish and Chips, fried clams, burgers, seafood pasta, are excellent, and believe it or not the steak is not bad. Best deal is the appetizer Mussels which are $2 off for happy hour and make a good meal. They come with a few shrimp and garlic toast.  Friday night are pretty packed  so expect a wait. But they do clear tables and cycle pretty fast.  Who ever runs the Upper Arlington location knows what they are doing. The other locations are good  but this is the best of them.
