The food is always good. The atmosphere is nice. The prices are a little high for a burger that's for sure. I feel they also need more booths in this establishment. The staff is always friendly a little slow but friendly. The parking lot is atrocious. and sometimes this place will just close out of schedule for no apparent reason its weird. Â But all in all an ok place for an expensive burger.
Review Source:I got my meal to go so I can't comment on the service other than when I called in the order they said it would be 10 minutes and it ended up being 30 minutes. Â The wings were kind of small and terribly mushy. Â The house chips were nice and crispy but the dipping sauce was bland. Â Not worth $7 that's for sure. Â Milkshake was kind of small for $6. Â I was not very impressed with the overall experience.
Review Source:It was kind of an Applebee's with a motorcycle theme. The bartender was polite and the place is very clean. I only had the OCC salad which was pretty good but nothing special. I would like to see hem hire a Chef and get slightly more creative but I understand the place is just a tourist trap and I didn't expect all that much. Since I pass by there pretty often I'm sure I'll get the chance to get a full meal and if it turns out to be good I'll be happy to add a star.
Review Source:Visited yesterday when they have a Mazda meetup in the parking lot, arrived around 12:30 and had to wait only about 10 minutes to be seated (considering the crowd I was surprised how fast). Â The service was excellent I thought - another reviewer severely complained but honestly I saw none of that... Â the host was apologetic over the short wait, the wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Â We were bid "goodbye" and "have a great rest of your day" by several staff on our way out, a couple that even had no interaction with us at all. Â Truly no faults there at all.
We started with the chicken nachos as appetizers. Â We liked everything about it, taste-wise, but felt the presentation could have been better... Â most of the chips underneath were bare, and everything else was just sitting on top so we had to grab a chip and then use a fork to scoop something onto it. Â Cheese was a little lacking, considering it was a plate of nachos. Â They had the guacamole, the sour cream and the salsa in the separate scoops on top of everything, so again, you had to fish for a chip and then "make your own nacho chip". Â I would have preferred they throw a layer of chips down, add cheese and shredded chicken (a little smaller than they have to make it easier to eat on a chip) perhaps a layer of salsa, do a second layer, and then add the guac and sour cream.
For entrees I got the pulled pork sandwich and chips, my husband got the Trike burger with fries which arrived at the table before the appetizer was done. Â I had thought the chips would be fresh and hot but they weren't. Â Not sure if I was expecting something different or if my plate sat too long. Â Husband said the burger was strange - each part individually was good, but the ingredients together tasted too sweet for the kind of burger he likes. Â My pulled pork was ok, I've had much better but I've also had worse. Â I knew it was going to be messy to pick up and eat so I cut it into bites and the brioche bun was thankfully easy to cut. Â The sauce was definitely sweet, I was hoping for a little more tang and a little more spice.
I drank ice water, my husband had a soda, our bill came to about $40 before tip.
So overall, I would probably grab something there again if there was an event going on where I hung around a few hours, but the food isn't so stellar that I would seek it out to eat there again. Â Service was top notch though, can't say enough good things there.
Checked out the bikes and had a burger. Marie was my server at the bar. Not overly friendly nor engaging. Marie didn't come back to ask if my meal was OK, or if there was anything else I needed, or provided me with a refill. Fries were fine, burger was fine. Not the best Ive had nor the worst I've had. I would go back if in the area again.
Review Source:Great Burgers
I think all of the 5 star ratings for this place are a bit extreme. The burgers are good, yes, but it's not the best burger you will ever have. The shake I had was good but ,again, not the best I've ever had. The decor is great and the service was average on both occasions.
This is a solid 4 stars but I'll reserve the 5th star for something that "wow's" me. Maybe next time.
I don't know where to begin. Â The place was about 1/2 full and there was a 45 minute wait for a table for 6 people. Â As we waited we went to the bar. Â I counted 5 bartenders, and it literally took 10 minutes to get 1/2 our drink order....another 5 minutes for the rest. Â
After about a 45 minute wait, all 6 of us were seated at a table meant for 4. Â Another 20 minutes until we actually pulled a waitress over and asked to place our order. Â When our waitress finally showed up she said she didn't even realize we were their....wow.
Appetizers were deep fried crap.  Fried cheese was a polly-o string cheese fried in zeppoli batter.  And the "rib rolls" were something out of a Costco freezer.  The entrees were no better.  Burgers were  cooked to order, but seems like they spent more time burning the "occ" logo into the bun than making a respectable dinner. Â
Bar service? Laughable at best. Â They had a band tonight and out of the 5 of us drinking beer....they ran out of everything we were drinking by 10:45.....on a Saturday night!!!!! Â We would wait 10-15 minutes for rounds.....then would receive 3 rounds at once!!!! Â
The place doesn't have an ATM, and when we asked our waitress to split the bill, she looked at us like were all had 3 eyes. Â
All I can say, no wonder OCC is going bankrupt!! Â Less than $200 for 6 of us to eat and drinking for about 4 hours. Â I know for sure we weren't charged for about half the rounds we got. Â The waitress I'm sure was absolutely out of her mind at this point. Â Poor girl.
I have to give it to this place though....and maybe it was the band, but it had to have been the best "cougar bar" I've ever been in. Â At least 68% of the females in this joint were over 45, and dressed to impress if you know what I mean! Â
So if you're searching for some cougar love on a saturday night and don't mind dealing with incompetent bartenders and wait staff, this is the place for you.
If you want decent food and marginal service, I suggest going to the marriot hotel next door, I'd be willing to wager it's better.
i was gonna go 4 here, but couldnt ruin the 5 star rating. Â we had the burgers and loved em, down to the branded OCC logo on the bun. very cool to see all the bikes as well. and keep those eyes open, and head on a swivel.....we saw 2 of the on air personalities here gang, jq, and senior himself was eating there. we were the only 2 idiots to not bother sr. in the joint that night. holy pic op's gang! sr. was more than accommodating to all! a class act!
Review Source:First off, not expecting anything over the top for a theme cafe at a motorcycle shop, but it would have been a greatif OCC would have partnered up with a local brew company like the new Newburgh Beer making place on the water front or The Gilded Otter, would have been alot nicer venue for beer and food. Sorry, the food was sub par, but like I stated, this is a cafe for a bike shop. And why would an employee review a place they work for, of course they would give it 5 stars. Oh well, good luck OCC.
Review Source:Yes I was excited to actually be at OCC but I was even more excited when I realized the food wasn't bad. The whole family went and we were pleasantly surprised. I'll start by saying the service was great. The beer selection seems decent as well. The menu isn't huge, it's basic and it's something for everyone.
We started out with the beer battered mozzarella sticks, onion rings, rib rolls and sweet potato fries. The rib rolls were awesome! Definitely bar food or just hanging out food. The mozzarella sticks were strange but not in a bad way, the puffy batter definitely gave them an added flavor. The onion rings were ok, a little too thick and undercooked for my liking. The sweet potato fries were amazing! I could have just had those and the rib rolls and been happy.
Every single person got a burger, they are a very generous sized burger on a brioche bun which is just about perfect for me. They are branded with the OCC logo which is cute but I wouldn't care if they weren't so good. Really if I'm back in the area I definitely know where to go for a good burger. The fries are ok, nothing to wow anyone and there were some complaints that the mashed potatoes had a weird taste to them, don't know if that's a secret ingredient or new recipe or just an off day. Desserts were also good, bread pudding which was surprisingly good and some sort of chocolate brownie type of cake that was also very good and way too much food after a huge burger. There were other desserts but those were the only ones I tried.
So it's a definite yes and I will probably go back and if you're in the area check it out. The only thing that loses is a star is the inconsistency in the quality of the sides. But still it's a new place and it's doing pretty well. Nice surprise.
Awesome....Great comfort Food, great prices and the atmosphere is awesome...Wait staff is friendly and attentive and the food was very satisfying...Must try, you will not be disappointed! Â The beer batter mozzarella sticks best appetizer...flat bread to die for and Burgers best in the area!
