I tried the "Uranus" (Thumann's beef/pork dog w/jalepeno-infused relish), and the "Area 51" (Vienna beef dog w/blue cheese cole slaw and sweet potato mustard). Both dogs were tasty, but barely lukewarm. Request that your dogs be grilled rather than steamed, so that they are served hotter.
Other choices, which I did not try, but sound intriguing, include the "Great Gazoo Dog" (deep-fried bacon-wrapped dog, topped with fried egg and cheese on a potato roll).
I also had the Creole chicken gumbo. It was a little thin (could have used more filé to be a true gumbo), but, it had good flavor. They sell their own label bottled sodas, which were a bit flat, but they also have a good selection of name-brand soft drinks in cans.
The menu, with nearly 60 different hot dog combinations, is bewildering, and the pricing overly complicated. And, the service is slow, however, the quality of the ingredients is good, and the concept unique and fun, so I think the place has potential. It is family run, and the owner is very sweet. I will return.
