When this place first opened, it tried to present itself as a different alternative to the numerous other spanish themed cuisine available in the neighborhood. It was different in that it seemed more professional from the advertising to the personal greetings everytime you stopped in. However, the food really wasn't that special. The chicken had no flavor--especially true if you've ever tried Peruvian Chicken. The best thing on their menu is their burgers. Good decent size--but remember to order it medium. Also, this place is definitely not fast food. Anything you order is about a 20 minute wait. So if you're in a hurry and really feel you have to try this place, call your order in ahead.
Review Source:With much skepticism I gave Zamba a try. I had the chicken sandwich which was pretty boring and bland except for the hot sauce. The fries and rice were bland and needed a lot of salt. The one thing I did like were the ribs which were pretty tender but could've used more seasoning. Â All in all I'm probably not going to go back to Zamba just because my local churrasqueira place is far better.
