Outback Steakhouse

Great place to get a meal on Bloomington strip.  Yes it is a chain.  Have eaten there dozens of times the last couple years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience.  Good steaks, appetizers, and more.  Is always busy-but never more than a couple minute wait.  Definitely seems like it is a popular spot with out of town travelers.  Prices are fair.  You will not go broke eating at Outback.

Great for family night or just a drink to yourself .. Atmosphere is chill, full bar is a plus and if your staying at the comfort inn it's a double ++:) To have a really good rest next to a hotel is perfect ! And the price is reasonable .. Not like these other hotels w a no name rest..
The 4 course meal is $15-a steal .. Salad soup entree dessert :) just $15 ! So worth it and if u like sports it had 5 diff TVs showing diff games ..
There's a lot of bartenders and waiters including runners so there isn't a moment where your just waiting to be served - great service here - I love it :) if your from out of town this is a good place to stay at comfort inn and eat at the "outback" in my Australian accent hahahahha

We both had the 6 oz sirloin dinner.  Both steaks were ordered medium rare and they were cooked rare.
The Ceaser and blue cheese pecan chop salad were good, but the lettuce appeared blue due to a blue light bulb in the fixture directly over the table.
One steak was over salted as was the baked potato.
The sweet potato tasted as if it had been cooked for 5 hrs.  The skin was very wet and soggy and the inside mushy and tasteless.
When we informed the manager about the sweet potato, she argued with us in defense of their cooking and claimed that was the way their sweet potatoes were always cooked.
We won't be back.  And we will let our friends know about our experience.
(The wait staff service was good.)
