I wanted to like this place, and I honestly felt sort of sorry for the guy who owns and runs it. Â He is definitely passionate about his art, which gives it an incredibly unique and bizarre feel. Â It's definitely not your typical Iranian restaurant. Â The food wasn't all that good. Â I grew up eating homemade Iranian food - biased, but arguably the best. Â Noon-o-kabob is the best in the city, but their service is hit or miss, and Reza's service is typically consistent, but the food is hit or miss. Â This place was a miss... no hit. Â It kind of breaks my heart really - the guy who owns/runs the place (and did all the artwork and design) really kind of reminds me of one of those lovable characters in an Iranian film who just can't find a break... and then the movie ends, with our hero no better off than where he started.
Review Source:Hah, I would have to agree with the other review on this restaurant on the fact that this place has one of the strangest decors. It's like...I can't even tell you what's it's like...that's how weird it is. Onto the food...my husband and I ordered a few different dishes and none of them were great and actually a few of them were really bad. The smells when I walk by this place every day are still tempting but I will not be fooled again! Humph!
