Went here with a bunch of girls to try out the "one of a kind" cocktails. Â It was such a cool experience if you're open to trying new drinks. Â We went on a Sat. night and the place was relatively dead in the 6-7pm hour and slowly picked up. Â It seemed like the bar tender was the only person working...so as business picked up our service got slower, which was a little disappointing but I'm excited to go back. Â Highly recommended if you're not in a hurry.
Review Source:Usually when you call someplace a hidden neighborhood gem, you're full of it. Well Joie De Vine epitomizes hidden neighborhood gem and I'm not full of it.
Cocktails easily on par with some of the best I've had in the city. One I had last night (bourbon, coffe liqueur, cardamom, barbecue spices) easily beat out my old favorite at The Whistler.
There's no cocktail list here, you just tell the bartender what kind of flavors/spirits you like and then she disappears and comes back with liquid amazing.
Also an astounding beer list for such an out-of-the-way joint.
New favorite.
PRO TIP: You can feel free to walk your dog by this bar. Lots of people do. In fact, there's a little bowl of water out front for your dog. There's also ample bike-locking-up right outside the door.
This is my first yelp review ever ... which shows what a great time I had here last night. The bartender and bar back were very friendly and provided a great experience. The bartender crafted our drinks  based on what we were in "moods" for. My first drink was good but didn't hit the mark, so they brought an AMAZING second try. I loved it and I was really quite content (The winning drink is a white sangria w/ proseco and a bloody orange liquor topper). My boyfriend's drink ... they hit the mark on the first try (a whiskey concoction). This is turning into a regular place for us ... and for many others as well. It is getting busy here. I am quite happy with the experience and give them 5 stars. Nice job.
