I'm a regular here in the lower level VIP areas in front of the DJ booth or to the side of the dance floor opposite of where the main floor bar is located. We always have a bottle on hand so I can't tell you if drink prices are high. I remember once my husband ordered a Corona at $6 or 7 dollars.

Currently, DJ Zog is spinning on most Friday nights. Miami's own DJ Laz starts around 12:30 on Saturdays. The music is a mix of top 40, house, and Latino. I've never had a night where I said to myself, "this blows. I'm going home." I think the club experience largely is what you make of it. If you let the music move you and stop over analyzing it so darn much, you might have a good time.

Overall, the atmosphere and vibe here is a positive one. I've never felt creeped out or threatened by anyone. I've never seen a fight or felt like I was about to be a part of one. The dancers are beautiful. The music is good. The eye candy is all around. What's not to love?

Cons: It is excessively loud in here though. Most of the time we're whisper yelling into each other's ears if we have to talk. However, I don't really go to a club to find out your deepest emotions so it isn't a problem for me. Earplugs might help if you're sensitive to loud booming music.

I love the location. If you get tired of Passion, remember there are at least 5 other places you can shake your butt or chill with a drink in hand.

THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU MEET AT ........PASSION NIGHTCLUB

As you enter the club, all I heard was some annoying top 40 song making sign language a must and my body felt the thud of every bass line. It made me think long and hard what was happening to me. Was this what heart palpitations felt like? I was already miserable and I had only made it five feet into the club. If I had known what would come next I think I would have stayed home.

We went up to the VIP area; It was one of the worst VIP areas. Looking for a spot to dance was impossible since it was beyond packed in the VIP area. We tried to get back to our group, which was only 20 feet away, and it took us about ten minutes. (This leads me to talk about the first person you meet in this club, Big x Big Booty women.)

1) Big x Big Booty Women: These are the women that are generally together and do not understand the phrase 'excuse me'. Their GINORMOUS booties are known to cause claustrophobia for surrounding patrons. I happen to get caught between them and they bounced me around like a pinball setting a record bouncing one person around between booties at Passion Nightclub. They are generally surrounded by ghetto superstar wannabes, who are going bonkers over the massive jiggly booties and refuse to move for anyone. (Description to be discussed later.)

After our 20 feet trek, my friends and girlfriend decided downstairs would be more fun. We went on our longer trek and at the upstairs balcony, it was hard to ignore all the hot, scantily clothed women all over the joint. (This leads to the second person you meet in this club.

2) Women Oozing of Sex: These women are the ones with ridiculous curves wearing ultra tight dresses. They are the ones that make you snap your necks. After spotting these women, the amount of spotted thongs went up double. Yes, they are the ones that put on the show. They are generally surrounded skull crushing meatheads.

We maneuvered to a spot right outside the dance floor. This was where the hardest part of our journey began for us, but first we had to get by that guy who refuses to move for anyone. My girlfriend speaks up in what must have sounded like the timid voice of Laverne Hooks from Police Academy series, "excuse me". He turns around with a menacing look, "you got a problem". We immediately go for another route.(This leads to third person you meet in the club.)

3) Skull Crushing Meatheads: They varied in size. Some are tall and muscular, while others are short and stocky. They are like the Hulk and are always angry, so clubbers beware for them. These are the type that keep 'affliction' and 'tapout' in business by only wearing that apparel. To impress women oozing of sex they say " I am an mma fighter"

Finally, we found our way onto the dance floor dancing with about two dozen people on our way to our destination. We collected sweat and nastiness from all of them; it was quite lovely. After we get settled with our overpriced, poorly made drinks in tow, we got hit with flying alcohol. (This leads to the fourth person you meet in the club.)

4) Overly Happy Dancer Flinging Drinks Everywhere: They are the ones with a full drink in their hands and throwing their hands in the air. After the drinks lands on someone, they are trying to befriend the victims. They are generally in their lower 20's and new to the club scene.

After getting our clothes wet with alcohol from those overly happy dancers flinging drinks everywhere, my friend and I tried to get a drink, but to be thwarted by the aforementioned big x big booty women with their male fan club blocking our way. (This leads to the fifth person you meet in the club.)

5) Ghetto Superstar Wannabes: They are obnoxious. They are consciously rude to people. They are the ones with clothing three sizes too big; they are the ones with their pants so low that their boxers are clearly visible. They are the ones smoking black and milds. Lastly, they are madly in love with those big x big booty women.

Also Considered: Overly sweaty people, the wasted bitch with missing shoes, the grumpy bouncer, the guy who dances up on women known as the the grinder.

After our group had been bumping and forced to dance with undesirables for a couple hours, we decided it was time to leave Passion. We left with irregular heartbeats and soaked clothing smelling like a mixture of alcohol and cigarette smoke. It is always a guaranteed good time at Passions.

Call me old, but I don't dig the club scene any more. I have been here a couple times prior to this past weekend and it hasn't changed. I prefer kicking back on the couch or going to a low key bar with music not blaring in the background and not having to scream at the top of my lungs to talk to someone in a club. A group of us came down to celebrate a bachelorette party over the weekend and we got in for free since we were on the VIP list. It's not worth 20 bucks to get in here. The drinks are ridiculously priced and it gets crowded quick. Since we all didn't go in together, some of us had to leave the club and come around the other side in the front of the club to get back in to get into a private room upstairs. The bouncer that was blocking the way to get to the other side was an asshole and said we had to wait until midnight in order to pass through the shortcut. Talk about aggravation! Luckily, the group of ladies I was with made the night worth while, even though I was this close to knocking a few people out of that club based on their self-inflicted drama and high maintenance attitudes.

I celebrated Part I of my Bachelorette festivities at Passion a few months ago, and it was the perfect venue. My friends and I danced the night away to the awesome music blasting. I appreciated the age range of the clubgoers... not young enough that we were worried about getting vomited on, but not old enough that we were worried about being visually molested. Everyone was very friendly (dance partners found by all!) and what else do you need other than music and space to move!

I think Passion Nightclub describes itself perfectly.
I've always had a great time here and the later it gets the more packed it seems to get. The door people are really great here too and seem friendly.
I have been to this club for events and fashion shows and had a good experience. They bring in good DJ's and you'll be dancing the night away.

Rihanna sang it best "We found love in a Hopeless place" and that's just what happened to me when I met my Man. This club sealed the deal and we were so Passionate about each other that night, the club made things easier and brought us together, I will never forget that night. Perfect place for my 100th review.

Clubs turnover, and this place has been here for years that means something.
I will be back for sure and with my dance shoes on and my Man in hand!

cons:
security is bla, you will spend more money than planned, u will sweat..

pros:
The people here are cool, party atmosphere,
Lots of room, and it still gets packed!
this place always has some sort of theme goin on with hot dancers, check out http://atnight.com for pics
The latin room has good music and mix..

Theres not much else to say, prefer this than iguanas, paladium, downtown, any reffy clubs in miami since its location is here at home. Plus its at the hard rock so u can get into all sorts of trouble. Chao

This club is not GREAT but it is okay to go for a good time. I personally think the best clubs are in Miami beach easily and once you have a taste of Miami beach you wont wanna go elsewhere!

So we decided to go a little 'wild' last weekend and hit up Passions with another couple and a friend of my husbands. I am an experienced club-goer and I used to frequent Downtown and SOBE clubs in my partying days. I had been to Spirits and Pangea at the Hard Rock before and always had a blast, but that was years ago and you know how a clubs atmosphere can change from one week to the next, let alone years, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect.

Things that were cool about this club:

- We got on a list and weren't hassled at the door. We got right in without waiting.

- Lots of space to dance/chill/move around without having to squeeze between people.

- Ladies drink free from 10-12 on Fridays (Not sure about Saturdays)

- The bartenders were nice and were quick to move from person to person.

- Music was alright, there was a back room where they played spanish music. I thought that was really cool.

- Parking garage was right beside the club, so we didn't have to go far to get to the car.

Things I didn't like:

- There is this room upstairs in the back that when you enter, you have to basically leave the whole club and then come around the front to get back inside. It was really lame because they don't tell you that there is 'one way in but no way out' when you come in so you find out when you want to go to a different rom. Bleh..

- Attire. I guess its supposed to be a more casual environment compared to SOBE and such.. but I didn't really like that there were dudes there basically wearing t-shirts, shorts and sneakers. I guess I'm used to places that have dress codes so everyone inside looks nice. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider.

All in all we had a great time. I'd recommend coming here to anyone who is curious, you really don't have anything to lose by coming inside. The cool thing about these clubs in the Hard Rock is that when you get tired of being inside you have several other options within walking distance.

Besides the drastic amount of creepers this club was pretty decent. There are two floors and the dj plays the hottest music. Nice decor and the VIP rooms are pretty roomy. Keep in mind though, if you are trying to get in for free before twelve and you are planning to park in the garage you MUST leave early. This is the Hard Rock so that means it will be packed on a weekend and you will not find parking on time. I repeat, you will NOT find parking on time! Overall, the drinks were good, (Gin was pretty strong) and though it was a bit crowded it didn't stop us from having way too much fun!

Ok well celebrated my bday here back in May bc i was leaning towrds a party scene outside of SOBE...ok Passions is overrated:

Pros:
Big areas nice setup, has second floors, can get crowded. They have a spanish room in the back with reggaeton which was nice, but way too small.
Cons:
DJ sucked..I mean music makes the aprty he could not keep it steady he went from hip hop to lady gaga to rhihanna and then to 50 cent. ]

Drinks were pricey but loved their amaretto sours...shots are $5.00..
overall Im a person who likes spanish and hiphop and dude keep the music going ...I would have hit up somehwere else.

I really like this club. However I would highly recommend getting a table upstairs otherwise you won't have access to the VIP area and you will be confined to half of the club.

Memorial Day Weekend After we left sidebar and Capone's in downtown ft.lauderdale The Doorman were OK, Young and cute, Did not say anything..Meh...1st of all we paid $20 for an average sized nightclub, on a Friday night, with, of course, limited seating (except for the VIP section. I also didn't like that for my $20, we don't even get free water in the club - the bartenders try to sell $5 water bottles!! After a lot of drinking, I needed water so I took my cup & filled it in bathroom faucet. Luckily it was a short line.
Speaking of, the bathroom in the smaller room is unisex.
The DJ, for the most part, played the usual club hits, & since its in Miami, his spins were heavy with Pit bull. However, sometime after midnight, he would start a really good song & the crowd would scream, then literally seconds later, he would "mix" a bad song. He did this repeatedly that the dance floor would get packed then practically stand still the next minute. It was just bad.
The crowd; mostly Latinos from 20 to 30 somethings. A couple of guys were trying for the Pit bull look-alike contest.
I really wished we would've chosen another club.

I had a fairly decent time at this club last night, but I did not have to pay the outlandish cover charge because I was on a VIP list. The main dance floor played hip hop and top 40 hits, which I liked. It was fun dancing to the music, and the guys were respectful and gave us ladies our personal space. There were some entertaining characters throughout the night, including a guy that thought he was the sixth member of N Sync, doing coordinated dances and the robot, lol.
I did not like the fact that it got extremely crowded at one point, and when we went upstairs to one of the lounges, they would not let anyone leave that particular area until midnight. Very strange to me... You could come in but couldn't get out! Everyone was crammed up against each other waiting for the door to open at 12. Another negative is the price of drinks. A beer was $7 and a mixed drink was $12, definitely not worth it.
I would go back again if I was on the VIP list again and did not have to pay the cover, but next time I would try to find some cheaper drinks elsewhere before going to the club.

This place is not all that. I personally hate the hard rock this club does nothing to change my mind. The music was not great and they kept on playing the same songs all night long. I know one of the promoter's, so I got in for free, but usually it is $20 to get in. This is not worth it at all. The VIP area is nothing special and the main room is beyond packed. The best part of the club is the spanish room, but sometimes, it gets crazy packed.

The bottle prices for this place is insane as well. You will regret getting it. I am not a fan of this place. I will only go if a good friend is having a party there and even then, I would try to convince the friend to go somewhere else.

Wow. Read Shauna L.'s review and was blown away. Awful customer service and simply inhumane treatment if you ask me.

I went to Passion's on my birthday night [Friday night]. Went with my hubby and two friends. The girls got in for free because my friend knew the bouncer, my hubby had to pay $20 to get in which is pretty expensive if you ask me. We had two drinks, one corona, and one baybreeze= $30 with tip. wow. but we ended up getting two free beers [fluke] so that made me feel a little better.

There are two rooms in Passions, the main dance floor which is hip-hop-ish music. It was good music, I liked that. Then there is a smaller room that plays latin music. They played more bachata and less merengue & salsa. I am not a big fan of bachata so I didn't like that part but overall it was a fun crowd.

I had a fun time, didn't have any bad experiences but I am not giving 4 stars because of the pricey cover. Thought the music was pretty good and fun.

This has to be the worst nightclub operation ever!

I hosted a bachelorette party there Labor Day weekend for my sister. Paid for a bottle and VIP, which their website states is free for bachelorette parties. Met up with another bachelorette party in VIP where we partyed for maybe 2 hours when a snooty cocktail waitress rudely informed us that we had to leave VIP because another party paid $500 to have our spot. This is AFTER we paid our money to be there!

When we tried complaining to the owner (GREG LISTER), we were rudely blown off. Finally, he asked us to wait inside for him, where he would meet us to bring us back up to VIP. We waited another 45 minutes and when he never came back, I went out to ask one of the girls at the door to grab him for us. I was greeted with a "what the hell do you want?" - when I said that she didn't have to be so rude - she got in my face, called me a 'fat bitch' and screamed at security 'kick this fucking fat bitch out of here'. Security then, physically and harshly removed me from the front of the club (I wasn't even inside the club at this point!!)

In the meantime, my sister visited the nightclub office, where Greg Lister, took one look at the bride-to-be and told her "don't even waste any more of my time!"

We left after we realized they could care less about customer service and all it would take to get them to kick someone out is another person coming along with a little more money. Nevermind that I dropped hundreds of dollars there that night!

Blah! Everything about this place made me feel, blah. They charged the guys $20 to get in. Then drinks were around $9 for well drinks. The music was bad ADD hip hop, 30 seconds of this, 30 seconds of that, play an entire song please!!!!
They had "shot girls" walking around with neon green alcohol going "You know you want a shot, you know you do? Oh they're five dollars" No thanks! And some poor women was mopping up spilled drinks all over the dance floor. By the time we were leaving there were only guys left, and when I say "guys" i mean "creepy- gel haired, poorly dressed, bros with a look in their eye like they have no idea what a real women is" guys.
Final thought: EH, just go to a club in Miami, much better.

Not impressed with this club at all...
First we all had to pay $20 each to get in. Music wasn't good. Around 1am it started to pick but not great.
Tried the Spanish music room and it was packed, you couldn't even dance without being stepped on or elbowed, so we moved back to the main room. By 3am I was bored, ready to leave.

I have been to this club a couple of times before, and I had a good time. Plus all those times most I had to pay was $10 so, I don't know if this is how this is now (it's been months since I've been here) or they were just had a bad DJ that night.
Thankfully my group of friends is always fun and that always makes it right.

If you're in the mood to go out and have a great time, make sure you have great friends with you, b/c if you depend on this club to provide you with an unforgettable night, the only thing you won't forget is how bad the music and DJ were. Add to that a $20 cover (men & women) for a club definitely not worth it, and you've got yourself a recipe for disappointment.

Also, don't bother buying the $5 shots the shot girls are walking around with. It's cheaper to just drink maple syrup straight out of the bottle and tastes much better.

I don't have anything positive to say about this club, other than at least the line to get in went by fairly quick. This club has a lot of potential, with the layout and style, as it has a huge dance floor, elevated VIP section, and a separate room for enjoying other music; but I'm not sure I'd give them another chance, as it clearly wasn't worth it. We paid $20 to get in, and we were out of there two hours later b/c we'd rather waste the money than endure the experience a minute longer.

Lastly, their beer selection was Budweiser, Heineken, or Corona - seriously, just three beers? c'mon!

this place ok. We came we on memorial weekend, and there was a $20 cover, but at least we didn't have to wait in the line. Drinks are reasonable, and the place was totally packed. Mainly, a latino crowd it seemed, like.

Went there with friends on Saturday night, I've been there before but long time ago. One thing that I want to point out is that the music competely Sucked, in both rooms. I mean, I was drunk and still could not manage to like the music. I wasn't too sure who were the DJs that night (Im guessing some house DJ), but it was just plain terrible: it wasnt' house, wasnt' rap, it was just a stupid mix of some old crap with some songs that I've never heard of, I've heard better at college basement house parties. The drinks were ok, relatively cheap compared to SoBe and the bartender girls are very attentive and super Hot! Didnt get any attitude at the door! Not much light effects either. Overall, managed to have a good time because of the group of people I was with.

I went to Passions on Sunday for their Free-Style/Stevie B Labor Day party, and was not really that impressed with the club itself. The dance floor was average size and the drinks were extremely small for the price. But the line did move rather quickly and the small room they have over on the side was a nice break to the larger dance floor. They also had 2 bars so at least the alcohol flows freely

It's great for lady to go on Friday night. I went with couple of the girls and we had a lot of fun. Girls get in for free on Friday night and drinks for free :)
I'm not sure about other days out of a week. Oh and there a lot of Asian people. If you like to meet some Asian guys or girls.

This club has a large room for the local Latin techno music and a smaller room for the hip hop/rap/reggae style club music. I personally liked the mix in the hip hop room...the dj was definitely on top of it. There's a $10 cover for the ladies and $20 for the gents. The drinks are about average for a club and they also offer VIP bottle service. It gets insanely packed in this club so be ready to get hot and sweaty...and if you know Florida's humid, hot weather, don't expect to go outside to cool off.
