This was a great find for lunch before flying out. Â The seating area was awesome, the best in the airport!
We had the chicken bahn mi, caramel chicken and a kids teriyaki chicken meal. Â The bahn mi was good but the ratio of bread to filling was off and it was slightly dry. Â The caramel chicken was a hit, very tasty. Â The kids meal was ok, lacking in flavor but it was a good size portion.
It's too bad there aren't more of these in the St. Paul area because I would eat here again!
Located between C2 and C3, this is without a doubt, the best Asian cuisine at the airport. Although they are constructing a nice seating area outside the restaurant, the few tables inside were all filled  with self endorsed, low paid flight crew. (Sorry, I have little time for them) Only one of the 8 was eating. I had a spicy chicken dish that will cause me to return soon! It did take longer to cook than I'd like, but one taste made that a small concern.
Review Source:Food is great. The service & staff, not so much. Took 20 minutes to complete my order - which, you'd think, in an airport would merit a warning. No such luck. When I complained, the lady behind the counter said "I would have told you if you asked." In other words - it was a known problem and it was my fault not asking, not theirs for failing to inform customers that they were running slow. Right.
Sad, because the food was actually quite good. I just wish I'd had adequate time before my flight to enjoy it.
The best Asian option at MSP. Â Â Located near C3 it has nice seating outside and inside.......Limited menu compared to a full service Pei Wei, but nice selections. Â I had the lettuce wraps (a bit too salty and too much soy sauce), and a children's meal (teryyaki chicken). Â Both were good....better than other Chinese food choices in MSP.
Review Source:Absolutely the best Asian food I've ever had... in an airport. Also pretty darned good. They were very willing to make vegetarian versions of their foods. I had the chicken fried rice, and they not only removed the chicken, but they used a different (non-chicken broth) sauce. How cool is that? It was awesome, 4.5 stars even for a non-airport restaurant. It was almost Thai-like, with slightly broken noodles. My wife had the honey seared chicken without chicken with brown rice, and it was OK, a little bland, but hey, it was awesome to have the flexibility to have stuff tailored for your needs!
Review Source:This is the first time that I've ever been to Pei Wei Asian Diner. Â I have absolutely nothing poor to report about any aspect of this delicious and relatively healthy fast-food option at the airport. Â The girl at the register was upbeat and helpful in making recommendations. Â After a couple of minutes she successfully persuaded me to go with the Kung Pao Chicken Bowl, which I don't regret the least bit. Â It was extremely spicy as I had requested, which was terrific. Â The ingredients were very fresh, and it was ready to go in about 5 minutes after I placed my order. Â I knew it was a popular place because shortly after I started to eat it got very crowded. Definitely a must-try if you're on a short schedule waiting for a flight and want a healthy and tasty meal.
