This is some of the best pizza in the area. If anyone remembers how good Pizza House in Cranford used to be, Pizza Stop's pizza tastes exactly like that.
Their cheese garlic bread is also amazing, you get an entire loaf of Italian bread with lots cheese. Even their pasta is out of this world. Every time we go we end up ordering too much and getting stuffed, but its so good you want to finish it all.
The food is definitely good over here. Â I usually get a chicken cutlet sandwich (they never seem to have honey mustard though) and the buffalo chicken pizza.
My two complaints, though, are the prices and their hours. Â I've tried calling over there for pizza for Sunday football and have been greeted by an unanswered phone. Â Found out they are closed Sundays. Â Wow, really? Â At least in the Fall it's probably the day you want pizza most! Â
The prices are a tad high too. Â For a whole chicken cutlet sub (including tax) expect to pay just over $10. Â It's a good size, but other local places can rival the size and taste for $1-2 less. Â For my usual buffalo chicken pizza, expect to pay $16-17 after tax (used to be $15 but I think it just went up). Â Sure, it's very good and a specialty pie, but again there are other local places with similar stuff for cheaper.
Parking is near impossible on the street, so turn down one of the side streets and just walk around the corner.
