If there was a such thing as a dive bar in NJ, this place may be the closest thing to it.  It's more of a sports tavern that attracts a nice diversity of patrons.  You'll find all kinds of people here on any given night, however I've never really found it too crowded.  You may also run into a few punks looking to start trouble too, so try and stay on your guard while drinking here and leave if there's any sign of trouble. There are no bouncers or doormen here.  The bartenders are normally quite friendly and quick with getting you your drink.  I would stay away from the draft beer and stick to bottles though.  Their draft beer always tastes horrible (like metal) and tend to be warm.  Their jukebox is mostly filled with heavy metal and rock tunes.......at least that's what most of the patrons play here.  Sometimes it gives me a headache if I stay too long.  Other times, the jukebox is off and they just have the TV showing sports among other shows.  They advertise having karaoke on Friday nights or at least have a DJ, but  I haven't been there for it yet.  Lately, they have been looking for ways to generate more business since this place never seems to attract a large crowd.  The place is relatively small, so that's a good thing in a way.
