Food is ok, nothing special. Restaurant has somewhat awkward policies: in the dining room you can only dine and not eat pizza. When we ordered our chicken pasta dish for lunch (on a Sunday afternoon, 2.30 pm, lunch being served till 3 pm) and asked for the lunch size, the waitress answered that they didn't serve lunch size on weekends?! Really?
Review Source:The customer service is amateur by ignorance, but there is definitely a lot of heart and heard work that goes on there.
Meal portions are large, satisfying and bland. Â Easily enough food for two.
The pizza isn't horrible, but hardly anything to be desired. Â Hard, hard crust seems to be a running theme.
Pleasant Ridge II is about as good as good Italian gets in the area. Â We went there for fathers day and had a table of four. Â When we first arrived they sat us in the middle of the room but only a few mins later they asked if we would like to move to one of the round tables in the corner. (Normally fits 6-8) Â I thought that was great since it was a Saturday night and could have been easily taken. Â
We started with a large plate of the Fried Calamari and it was out of this world. Â The Garlic Knots are plentiful and delicious. Â
For an Entree I had the Pork Chop and Jumbo Shrimp special. Â It comes with a nice house salad all for $14.95!
Pop had the same thing, and his guest had the Veal Marsala. Â It was excellent as we all shared.
My partner had the Shrimp Parm which was UNREAL! Â The sauce was so authentic and good it was unbelievable. Â
I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for good italian food.
