Don't go to this place. The people there are lairs and only want your money. We booked for a small room because we had four people going and the waitress lied to us saying they were only medium and large rooms available. Â And when we did went into the medium they gave a microphone that didn't work and then asked us to another room, which is a smaller room. But we were charged for a medium price. They are liars and only want to get your money. Do not and I repeat do not go to this lounge. The song selections are mostly Koreans and they are old songs. Hardly any new songs from 2010 on forward.
Review Source:The song books were sticky.
One microphone was not working. Â My friend went outside to tell the front desk. Â Not sure what happened, but the microphone did not get fixed.
The multicolored disco light ball was not working. Â You need cheesy lights for karaoke!! Â If I want to sing with no crazy lights, I can sing in my car.
No complaints about service. Â They were out of the beer (bud light on tap) to make flavored beer, which is the one thing my friend wanted to drink and wanted to go to this karaoke place for.... Â but the guy was nice enough to give us the syrup on the side to experiment with Blue Moon...! Â umm verdict: stick to regular Blue Moon...
The song selection was decent. Â We don't sing asian songs, so no complaint there... and the english selection had pretty much all the traditional songs, plus a good amount of recent songs you would hear on the radio.
There were 5 of us in a medium size room, because the wait for a small room was too long. Â For a medium size room, it still felt kind of cramped because the couches and table take so much space... not much space to walk when you want to go to the bathroom or go outside to order food and drinks... or for people who like to dance around.
I really... really... hate sticky books.
I have been here more than five times and I've had fun each time. However, the wait time is just ridiculous. I put my name and number down and they didn't call me until three hours later. That's ridiculous. The song choices are mediocre.
But if you want to belt mainstream songs with a bunch of your friends, this is the place to do it. I haven't found another karaoke place around the area but when I do, I'll check it out and compare. Plush was great a few years ago and they're really fall down the ladder here.
Recently celebrated my birthday here. The only bad thing is you can't bring your own drinks, only a birthday cake is allowed. They do have beers and some finger foods which were expensive. The security guard also checks everyone's bag to see if you're hiding some liquors which I though was ridiculous. Most of the songs are in Korean so i would highly suggest for them to update more songs in english selections.I had fun anyway! Thanks to all the people who came and made my birthday celebration spectacular! But I don't think if I would return to this place.
Review Source:Very expensive, but they do serve alcohol here. There's also a lot of cute girls that work at the front counter. I know that probably shouldn't be relevant, but it is.
I've been here a few times now, and their english selection is somewhat limited. They only have a few songs from any given artist, except for a few like Back Street Boys or Kesha where they basically have their whole albums. It won't stop you from having 2+ hours of singing if you know lots of song titles.
Don't forget to ask for tambourines :D
Pretty shitty selection of songs if you ask me. But that's why I prefer playing electric guitar and jamming with mates instead, so I'm def not a karaoke kind of person in that sense. IMO, way overpriced for what it is. Maybe it appeals to non-musicians, but I simply cannot wrap my head around forking over 14+ dollars to sing into a machine with very limited/old song selection.
Review Source:Not bad. Only thing good is the chicken nuggets or what not. They do have a good variety of songs, but navigating the system is harder than it should be.
Also, I am guessing because it's cheaper and copyright issues, the videos being played on the screen have NOTHING to do with the songs. We were singing Journey, and the video playing was some Korean drama, where the girl is getting beat down or something. It made no sense.
I'm definitely a fan. The karaoke equipment are top notch and the place is clean. The place is pack so if you're going to this place make sure you reserve a spot and get there early because the parking is horrible. My coworkers and I had a blast and time flew by when you're having fun.
Review Source:One random night a while back, my friends and I were in the mood for some Karaoke to sing away the hurts in our hearts (no joke). Between a few of us, we hit up some close friends who were just down for a good time!! Since it was poorly planned and we weren't completely sure who was/wasn't going to show up, we got the Medium Room ($45/hr) which is suggested for 7-9 people. Well oops because I think we ended up having like 13 people squishing in lovingly into that medium room!! We sang over 2 hours and I think we paid about $10 each, so not much at all.
I would just recommend purchasing beer and snack on your own tab outside at the bar area so you wouldn't have to worry about splitting the bill after :)
The selection wasn't super amazing, but it wasn't super horrible. It had all of the fun songs that we wanted to sing ranging from backstreet boys, to aqua's barbie girl, to linkin park's bleed it out, to paparoach's last resort and then even disney songs... so we had quite an awesome time even though not EVERY song we wanted was on there.
In all fairness the remote wasn't all that difficult to use. The hostess came in to show us in the beginning and then from there we kind of got used to it. The only thing I would like to complain about is that one of the mics were not working throughout the night, and she kept blaming the battery. We kept telling her it wasn't working and she would just switch out the battery AGAIN -_-' clearly the problem is with the mic!!!! Luckily my friends are amazing and we were all just singing together so that wasn't too big of a problem.
Overall it was fun!! The price wasn't too bad. I wouldn't mind coming back, despite the technical difficulties. The alchy is a definitely plus, because I've been to karaoke places who are strict on alchy and that's no fun at all!!
SING YOUR HEART OUT!!
This place has a great happy hour rate from Sunday to Thursdays:
$15 - all you can sing
$20 - all you can sing + drinks excluding alcohol
So if you want to be the next Diamond Jemboree Idol, you can practice here.
Place has lots of rooms and the system are all touch-screen.
Great to visit with friends and family.
Ok... I don't sing. Ever. My boyfriend always thought this was peculiar and one day he decided to take me to karaoke for our date night in order to force me to sing. I didn't want to be a jerk and decline since I know how hard it is for him to suggest dates for us and want to encourage him to keep taking me out. So I reluctantly agreed to go with him.
A small room is $35/hour, but they also have an all you can sing special for $17/person so this came out to be just a dollar cheaper for us. And we had no time limit. I was disappointed in the lack of alcoholic beverages served since if I'm gonna be expected to be belting out tunes, I must be wasted for that.
The whole remote is in Korean. They have some buttons labeled in English, but it can be a little difficult to use at times. They have a big selection of American music and also a good number of Asian songs. The choices available are alright. They didn't seem to have anything other than well-known pop music, but that doesn't bother me. The place was very clean, trendy, dimly lit. So it was a good environment. The room is quite private and the music outside is so loud that people won't hear you guys singing while walking in the halls.
We ended up staying here for almost 3 hours, so I thought it was a pretty good deal.
This review is strictly based on a phone call:
I called to make a reservation for the weekend, but they do not take reservations for small and medium sized rooms, which i totally understand, its their rush hour. The girl on the phone was very accommodating and gave us some pointers!
I'm super excited and i hope their service is as good as their phone manners!
the worst.
the wait is always like 10 hours long.
and mostly everyone that works here is really unprofessional. i get that you're in an asian plaza so you dont have to have the best customer service (ie: tokyo table) but i dunno. not into it. esp the 18 year old girls that work the front desk.
who are u.
id rather go to shout karaoke in tustin. and no i dont work for them.

Visited on a Thursday night, June 21, 2012 (sorry, long overdue review!)
My cousin brought us here for our "cousin bonding night" -- 6 of us total. Â Great spot to sing your heart out. Â No hard liquor (just beer) served here, so get your courage shots at one of the other joints in the same poppin plaza.
Even on a Thursday, there was a pretty lengthy wait list for the small rooms... but our get-togethers aren't too common, so I got us the large room to avoid the wait. Â I don't karaoke a whole lot, so not sure how prices fare... but at $55/hour, and split 6 ways, it's under 10/hr, which isn't too bad. Â We stayed for 2 hours, and enjoyed some fried string beans (bomb!), popcorn chicken (spicy goodness), seasoned fries (salty goodness), and fried fish balls (MSG me up!).
They had an extensive selection, and I was surprised with the more current hits too ("rack city" ended the night well). Â I'll definitely be coming back, maybe when the cousins visit next month ;)
I went to PLUSH Karaoke for the first time for my birthday Celebration one year. Â This was the first time I had been there. Â Right before you enter the place, there is a security guard that checks your purse. Hmmmm lol we did not have any alcohol on us. Â
Overall the room I reserved was really big ... Big enough to fit 20 people and it was really fun. They have a great selection of songs old and new. Â They also serve beer but no hard liquor. We just kept going to the balcony down the way for shots since they had happy hour. The decor of the place is nice and everything was clean.
I would definitely return and sing my brains out here again.
TL;DR: Great, patient staff (my friends were pretty fucked up and one of them was super obnoxious). Clean rooms. Great song selection. Food and beer! Didn't try the food. Very cool doorman/security guy who really just wants to make sure everyone's safe. Bring your own Korean to work the remote... it's Irvine. It's tough to find them around here but that's only when your eyes are closed.
Long version:
So you normally can't find me in the 949 cause it's... the 949. Let's be real. I grew up in north OC and I am simply too thugalicious for these nice quiet affluent south-OC folk.
As such it's become evident to me through these reviews that some of these folks have no idea what an NRB is and then I realized it's in the 949 and most of these people are way too classy for a place like an NRB.
Because Plush, for all intents and purposes, is one of the nicest NRB's I've ever seen outside of the motherland or a... well you know... 'special' NRB in LA. Song selection is up to date. Clean rooms that don't smell like cigarette smoke... and they serve beer and are open until two. There's a bar next door if you want to pregame with hard a.
Staff are super awesome, from the people inside who take care of your drunk friend in the bathroom when you can't follow her in cause it's the ladies room, or the patient bartender who put up with all my friend's obnoxiously loud drunken rambling and ordering multiple pitchers for himself at the bar. Though most NRB staff I've encountered have been pleasant, I've heard all kinds of horror stories about LA NRB staff being very standoffish and rude. That is not the case here; they're not going to go out of their way because it's part of the culture not to be intrusive unless called upon, but if you ask for help they're more than happy to do so.
Speaking of staff, Victor, the big security dude/doorman out front, is awesome. He works whenever hired (he says currently a handful of days a week), but he'll call you a cab if you look too fucked up to drive, which is nice of him. I spent most of my night chopping it up with big Victor since I was starting to sober up and I didn't fancy singing while sober. He gave me some tips about places to eat late to sober up (everything in this god-forsaken city closes at 10PM), and advised me that the Irvine PD are lurkin' around this area late at night looking for potential DUI's.
Don't know too much about how much it cost (DD means never having to say you're sorry... or paying for NRB) but still, from what I saw with their specials, not that bad at all. Also, BYOK. That controller and song selection system can be tricky.
We had the vip room for a company party.
To be honest, I thought it looked kinda' meh. Big couches, flat screens but no real ambiance. Just beer, nothing else in the way of bar drinks. It was just a small dark room really with 2 seriously loud microphones. And yet my coworker was still louder than the mics on his own. haha.
A lot of Korean language instructions that not a single one of us understood as well. Eh. Idk that I'd return.
So yesterday we went to Plush
At first I was a little bit hesitant, but once we got in the room it was great!!!! Â Other than the fact that everything was in Korean (they did have English) songs, just the controls were a little bit difficult. Â
Definitely recommend - especially if you've got kids who are budding rock stars. Â We spent three hours here. Â I know hard to believe, especially since there was three of us, and we dragged ourselves away before all our songs that we input even came up.
By the way, this is the way to find out whether you really know a song. Â That song you sing along with in the car, it's really hard to sing without the artist singing with you.
Munchies were decent. Â We did the Happy Hour from 3 to 8 on Sat, small room for $18/hr. Â We got Combo A - two appetizers, french fries and onion rings (I really like the onion rings, a little greasy probably not good when stone cold, but they were delish hot and piping from the fryer) and one beer (Heineken) in a mug for my hubby. Â $4 for the Heineken on tap, good size. Â $8.90 for the munchies. Â
Now, I personally am into K-POP so was thrilled to see some of my favorite K-Pop bands. Â Unfortunately, I suck at singing K-Pop songs. Â Might be the difficulty of reading the lyrics in Korean. Â Must practice Korean.
Good selection of English songs, classics and newer stuff. Â My daughter was thrilled that they had Taylor Swift, One Direction, Adele - many "new" artists.
My husband was also please with the selection. Â
Did have a problem with feedback with mics. Â I suppose we could ask the ladies upfront to help us adjust the sound, but we didn't. Â
Now, I've been to Rose in Koreatown. Â This was a lot better, at least for me. Â Although I'm Korean, I feel LA Ktown really focuses on the Korean market, so if you're not Korean you're not going to get the best service. Â There's the whole communication issue. Â The Plush employees were great. Â And they were very responsive and you could talk to them and ask them for help if you didn't understand something. Â At first, the sound in our room didn't work, but then they sent someone to fix it.
The remotes are pretty easy to use in light of the fact that all the buttons are in a foreign language. Â I love the way you can select songs. Â At Rose, we had to browse through huge books, and I couldn't quite figure out if the books were alphabetical by artist or title or by genre or what. Â Very hit or miss. Â Here, they have the book. Â But you can also just type in the song title in whatever language you're looking for and it will pull up. Â Say for instance you wanted to sing to Kim Hyung Joon Kiss, Kiss. Â Then you set the language/country to Korean. Â Then you type in Kiss, Kiss (in English, not Hangul) and it pops and you can select it. Â I guess you do have to be able to read the artist name in Korean bec. the name does comes up in Hangul.
Also, I was pleased with the video selection playing. Â Now, you may think this is random. Â But you have no idea how exciting it was for me to recognize bits of MV that were playing in the background. Â They ran Dirty Cash by Big Bang several times. Â This is in contrast to Rose, where they kept playing very violent videos over and over. Â After a while, it kind of became a downer.
"Luxurious" - I guess what you mean by luxurious. Â I don't know that I would consider it luxurious in the sense that it's super high end. Â I felt the equipment was in decent condition. Â The furniture was not beat up. Â It felt clean and not nasty or low class. Â I didn't feel like the rooms had been used for drugs or sex. Â I got the feeling it was rather wholesome. Â The food was good/adequate. Â I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off on alcohol. Â It's not as fancy schmancy as the webpage makes it look. Â But it's not divey. Â So I guess it depends on your expectations. Â I mean I didn't feel like I was hanging out with Hugh Hefner or anything, but it was nice and I had a blast. Â
And after all, isn't that all that matters.
I did enjoy this place because you get your own room instead of embarrassing yourself in front of other patrons (which, I have to admit, could be interesting). We had  pretty bad echo in the room and the volume was pretty loud and we couldn't figure out how to turn anything down because it was all in a different language except for a few buttons. Button mashing it is!
They have a lot of good modern pop songs and rock'n'roll classics which I liked but there were a lot of Chinese (I think) songs which didn't really benefit all the white kids in the room trying to scroll through everything. It was a bit pricey so I avoided getting any food or drinks and waited a couple of hours until I could get home.
Overall, I would come back but probably with more people and planning our songs ahead of time. Also, I would've liked another microphone cover cause we had two mics in the room for the 3 of us.
What's up with the low reviews? Where else are you going to find a luxurious karoake place in Irvine no less. And we all know Irvine desperately needs a night life. Plush has rooms for small, medium and large groups. They have beer and some snack items to order (squid balls are pretty delicious). Only complaint is you can't mix American and Chinese songs together since it is from two different systems. 7 people in the large room, 2+ hours for $150 bucks. An affordable fun outing.
**request for the tambourine- it'll make the night that much more fun**
I've been here plenty of times before (I was even thrown a surprise birthday here!) and it's usually a pretty solid 3.5-star experience, but my last visit here warrants a 1-star review (but I averaged my rating). Â
DON'T BE FOOLED! Â If you're in on a Sunday for happy hour like I was, you are REQUIRED TO BUY A DRINK. Â If you order a tea, they will take over half an hour because they are 'brewing it.' Â I honestly don't know how they brew they teas, but it should take no more than 15 minutes to complete a drink order, even if they are brewing from scratch. Â The drink I ordered, however, was decent. Â I just didn't appreciate having to get my drink more than halfway through my time there. Â Because we didn't finish our drinks, we ended up staying another ten minutes or so.
At the beginning of our karaoke session, we spent five minutes literally just talking and waiting for the guy to come back for our drink menu. Â He didn't, so I walked out and placed the order. Â The last five minutes were spent being girls in the bathroom, but okay, my bad, we should've paid first. Â Anyway, the total came out rounded to an hour and a half, plus two drinks (one of them was priced wrong and they corrected it when we mentioned it to them) came out to what would've been an hour at normal price. Â
Overall, I felt scammed into having to pay for the drinks (they mention it no where on their website), and they really should have a disclaimer that certain drinks will take over half an hour to make. Â We would've been equally as satisfied with two bottles of water or something.
To balance this review out, my favorite thing about Plush is that they give you mic covers. Â Hygienic!
As far as Karaoke lounges go, this place has what you need. Â The essentials, small, medium & large sized rooms to rent for the private karaoke experience that most asians are used to (none of this public open mic karaoke stuff they do in the west). Â Just you and your friends acting like fools for your own enjoyment with out the embarrassment in front of strangers. Â Plenty of beer and non-alcoholic asian drinks for you to sip on while you wail out your tunes. Â And a limited finger foods menu to snack on. Â But there are plenty of places in Diamond Jamboree to get a more substantial meal if you need it.
We did not try the food but the drinks were okay. Â Pretty busy on a Friday night but not so packed at 9pm that we couldn't get a room. Â The selection of songs is really quite good, we did both chinese and english and were able to find a lot of what we were looking for. Â The digital selection system is pretty cool that stores the songs you choose and you can rearrange the while belting out the tunes if you're like me! Â The rooms are decent sized and fairly comfortable. Â Definitely worth coming back!
This place is new to the diamond plaza in irvine with alcohol buffet option. I definitely have experienced much better, but it's rare to find a place that offers alcohol buffet with a security guard by the door.
Song Selection - Average, I can't find few popular Chinese and English songs.
The touch monitor is insensitive. Very hard to hit page down/up button.
I'm sure the buffet will attract customers. 2 stars for the alcohol buffet.
This is the best place in Irvine to belt it out!
Good karaoke touchscreen systems!
They have all of my A-mei, David Tao and Wang Lee Hom favorites!
Service is a hit or miss!
You'll need to adjust the microphone echo in some of the rooms.
Make sure you reserve ahead if you have a large group (they take reservations only for the large and VIP rooms).
If you want a small or medium room, you'll be waiting at least an hour if you go after 7pm!!!
They have awesome happy hour specials Sunday through Wednesday!
All you can sing for $15 or all you can sing AND drink (alcohol excluded) for $20!
The advertised ALL YOU CAN SING Karaoke for $17 is a bit misleading. Â
They have 3 packages of all you can sing:
1) Â $17 Â JUST SINGING
2) Â $22 Â Unlimited Drinks
3) Â $30 Â Beer
While this all sounds good and it was, the disappointing event was at the end when we got our bill. Â We were charged tax and gratuity.!?!?! Â
Out of all the karaoke places I've been to, i've never been charged TAX and Gratuity!? Â Perhaps this is something new i'm used to? Â Please forgive me if i'm wrong, but I'm just not used to getting charged for this? Â If they put a note on the flyer or ad saying that this will be included, it would've been easier to swallow. Â But no warnings, FYI. Â
Aside from that, let's talk about the real review, the setting and ambiance:
Ambiance:
Very plush. Â Haha. Â It was luxurious and up to date machines kept us amused with the movies playing in the background while we sang. Â I loved the seating and the lighting. Â All in all, it was nice. Â Just wish they had some antibacterial wipes or something. Â
Service: Â
In the beginning, the service was nice. Â The server kept bringing us water & drinks. Â However, when we asked the worker if we could change rooms to use the Tablet Karaoke system, she said that we would have to wait until a small room opened up. Â We honestly didnt' want to wait so we decided to pay and leave. Â While we were paying, the other worker at front heard us talk about how we wish we could've tried the TABLET karaoke system and she made accommodations for us. Â That's good service from her! Â I wish I got her name but she was Caucasian. Â She's really nice!!! Â
I'll definitely be coming back again with my friends/date someday. Â Loved the environment but be forewarned on the tip + tax!!!
It's nice how this is one of those few places in Irvine that is still open past 9pm! I am a karaoke buff and I absolutely love singing - and after coming here on various occasions - I really recommend this place.
The interior design is really nice and sleek in every room. There's a nice big TV screen and leather couches. The place uses 2 different audio systems. If you want to sing mainly Korean songs, you will use a mini computer-like device to choose your songs. However, if you're more into English songs, you will use the touch-screen device by the wall.
I enjoy singing Korean and English songs, and I really do wish they had a specific system, in which there is an equal quality of song selections in both languages. (This is because I am an avid Kpop fan and some of my friends are not)
But anyway, this place can be a bit pricey, so DO take advantage of their deals!
Sun-Wed: All You Can Sing for $17/person & All You Can Sing/Drink for $22/person
Sat-Sun: Happy Hour from 3:00-8:00pm. Rates are about 50% off
So come hungry and eager to sing your heart out. :)
Fun place to hang out with friends and family for a round of karaoke. The best time to check this place out is during their happy hour. I've gone to a few karaoke lounges before and the prices here are a bit on the high side by a little but my main problem with this location is the lack of friendliness in the establishment.
All in all it's fun and it'd be a fun thing to do especially if you've got a group together.
Pretty comparable to LA Koreatown joints.
A bit crowded on weekends.
Foot is only friend stuff, but that's not what you go for.
You go for silly fun with draft beer and there's fruity soju for the gals.
Location is great because there's a lot of other before and after food stuff for 1-cha,3-cha (which is Korean for first car, third car -like the cars in a train; they are the events of the night, like drinks (1-cha), dinner (2-cha), then karaoke (3-cha), then late nite dinner at BCD tofu at 2am (4-cha)
I came here a few times to celebrate some birthdays by singing out lungs out...
The Good :D!
- Service was okay. But they were nice enough to give us a bigger room when the mics were feeding back in the room they originally gave us!
- They add more recent songs to the list, especially ones that are pretty well known.
- Variety of food available. Chicken Nuggets = NOM
- Conveniently located in DJ!
The Not so Good D:!
- Gets crowded on the weekends!
- Can't bring your own food/drinks in :[
- I think it's a tiny bit pricey.
About 12 of my coworkers and I came here on a Thursday evening. We took advantage of their $30 special -- It's $30 for unlimited karaoke and beer. They had Hite and Bud Light but were out of some other brands that one of my coworkers requested. The TV is a decent size.
Pretty good deal! They have a good selection of music, but if you ask for a more updated list, they have a separate binder for that. They need more rap and hip hop selection! Overall, the service was good and we didn't have any problems with our reservations.
It's located in a busy complex, but park in the structure located in the back.
A lot of times in Irvine, you find yourself wondering what you can do, besides eating. Sure, you can go for a movie, go a friend's house, but those get old...and fast.
Located at the heart of Irvine's Diamond Jamboree, this place has a decent song selection. They have a bunch of traditional songs that people love to sing and also a decent selection of newish songs that you currently hear on the radio. This is nice, as some people like singing new songs, while others enjoying singing those songs that we used to hear all the time.
I would say it is a bit more pricey than other karaoke places, but it's in DJ. It's around $30 for a small room (supposedly for 5-6 people). They also have an AYCS deal, which is $15 per person.
It is part of the Asian Culture that we love karaoke, I havent meet one Asian who doesnt like to sing karaoke. May be that person is shy but I bet you he or she dreaming of getting the whole system at home to sing to themselves.
You are coming to a right place if you are looking for current English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese songs. They even have Bubble from GD and Top when the song just got out.
If you are here for vietnamese songs, they have very limited selection. They have happy hours but you ll need to call them what time because it has been a while for me. The remote control is very confusing so have the employees explain it before they run off somewhere and you can never get a hold of them.
They use Ziller Karaoke system, it will enhance  your singing so pick a favorite song, step up and sing your heart out, have a good time.
Decent selection of karaoke - not as exhausting of a list of music as you would expect. Really great prices by the hour for rooms which was awesome. Went there with a group of buddies and had a lot of fun.
As far as karaoke places go, nothing stand out about it, but would still recommend it as a potential place to check out for those in private aspiring Idol fans :)
Came here for my bday.. if it wasn't for the fun girls I was with, it would've been hell.
To sum it up, it was definitely over priced when you have to wait to check out because of lack of attentiveness. Mediocre music and lame excuses for upgrading your room because "it's not available". Why would one rsvp a room and wait for an extra hr to be told it's not avialable. Obviosuly, with other reviews, this is not uncommon. If it hadn't been for the crazy parking for 4 friends to meet up, we would have left. Then there was the service button which took awhile for someone to come in so my sister left and ordered outside.
The best part is when they try to argue with you that you're 30 minutes over Hello, we were standing there like idiots trying to pay. They did offer a discount if you show your ID that it's your bday but I wasn't worried about the discount but the mere fact of trying to suck every penny out of you. We had to wait a good amount of time for them to figure out why the machine didn't play on time at the beginning of our session and the 15 minutes wait to pay. I think it's the last time for the 4 of us...
This place has a pretty good song collection. THey have a lot of international songs. They have korean, Japanese, vietnamese, phillipines, Indonesian, and others.
The system is also pretty nice.
The medium room is pretty small compared to the feel karaoke in K-town LA. the price is also pretty good. Not to expensive too. Well, I wish they can turn their AC a little bit colder cuz it gets pretty hot and stuffy after we sang and screamed for a while haha :)
Prices are very reasonable depending on the day/time that you go. They also serve alcohol which is a plus since some KTV places don't allow it. Their flavored beer is surprisingly good...
They offer a lot of variety for song choices too. Plush has a lot of poplar radio hits and they're also pretty up to date with new music in Taiwan and Korea (I think...). You can pick songs from their touch screen or their massive book of songs. They also give you those little microphone cover thingys so it's not as icky. Rooms are pretty sound proof so you don't have to overhear your neighbors singing unless you're just sitting there in silence.
The room is pretty clean and the larger rooms can fit a huge party. They also have different light options for different ambiance. Doors also provide a lot of privacy since you can't see through the glass but it makes it a little hard to find your room sometimes if you forget where it is. They're open late and also split on different credit cards so it's convenient to pay.
ended up here after a few drinks with some friends to have some fun. The wait was a bit long so we ended up geting a larger room for a group of 4. came out to be around $10 each for an hour so it wasn't too bad.
song selection was OKAY, nothing to really get me excited, but they DID have CALL ME MAYBE so i was pretty stoked about that since i got to bust out my singing skills for that.
they have two machines one for asian songs and one for american songs except the american song machine had asian songs and vice versa so it was pretty confusing.. and u can't switch between machines without getting the staff to come in and do it for you so that was pretty annoying.
Overall had a pretty fun time but just wished the machines were a bit easier to use
oh and they check purses for any type of alcohol so that was kinda creepy and weird, we weren't trying to sneak anything in but just keep that in mind
Pretty standard Asian karaoke place like you'd find anywhere else.
*Don't forget to use the mic covers that they provide!! Love these because I can be a germophobe at times.
*$30 per hour for a small room that fits up to about 4 people. Kinda on the pricier side. Thursdays = 50% off drinks.
*Decor/ambience wasn't as impressive as some other karaoke places in K-town. Meh. It is what it is.
*Friendly service! The girl at the front desk was really nice!
*Pretty good song selection (definitely a lot more Korean/Chinese songs than American, especially newer ones although they do a pretty good job of including the latest Top 40 hits for American songs).
*Lots of parking in the huge parking lot inside the Jamboree Diamond Plaza (the karaoke bar is upstairs above Tokyo Table).
