Potbelly Sandwich Shop

It's everything you'd expect.   A bit crowded during busy lunchtimes, but otherwise OK.

I've been to several Potbelly locations and this one is the largest. They have your standard sandwiches, Your standard antique/kitschy decor etc. The people-watching, however, was superb. I saw a man walk through the door with a giant fishing pole and order a sandwich. Where are you fishing, sir? The Chicago river?

The service was, in my mind, exceptionally fast in this location. It's a good thing, too. It was lunch time in an area full of hungry office workers and I made it through the line in roughly 5-10 minutes. I'd go there again without a doubt.

My wife and I eat here on a regular basis for lunch during the week. The service is prompt, employee nice, and quality of food above par.  I like the 'live hippy music' they bring in on occasion, as it helps to solidify the 'hippy' brand associated with Potbelly overall.  I do wish that they would continue with this dogmatic approach and implement a recycling program, for much of what is thrown in the garbage, could be sent out for processing.
