Privata Cafe

Had the chicken burrito/wrap deal and it was very good! The salsa was also very interesting, I believe its made with olives. I was a little apprehensive at trying this place, being a mexican joint with an italian twist, but was very pleased! I'll be back, the place was cheap and good!

Although it is thrilling that Privata is back, I found a few heartbreaking ingredient changes. The new chicken burrito is very green, with lettuce and black beans accompanying the chicken, whereas the old chicken burrito had AMAZING patatas bravas-tasting taters inside and an orangey color to match. However, I will go back again and again for the olive (black) salsa and the friendly service.

I think Wednesdays are discount teacher nights.

Thank goodness it's back!  Yummy as ever Privata is making the same fabulous food in a new and improved location.  Nothing beats the chipotle black bean pesto.  Stop by and enjoy one of the yummiest meals you'll get in the East Village.
