I visit this place quite often and love the food and quality of the preparation. Â They completely remodeled the place and when the kitchen door opens, I peek and see that it is the cleanest kitchen I've seen. Â
Lunch specials are so inexpensive, you can try all the dishes, which I have done. I couldn't find even one dish that was bad. Â Try the Japanese Curry. Â
I convinced them to get spinach noodles, so make that a request for $1. Â Better than any white rice or white pasta.
I am reviewing as a delivery customer, off the bat I can see that most of these dishes probably aren't good to order delivered and probably better in the restaurant. Â
The sushi is absolutely terrible, one of the worst I have tasted. Â Secondly, I got the shumai which was also pretty rancid. Â I think it uses artificial crab meat but they are miles away from what I have had before. Â The shumai at Butterfly Sushi Bar are 5/5 but here they are 2/5. Â
The Thai food itself, isn't bad. Â I had Red Chili Stir Fried with chicken. Â They use a generous amount of meat with the dish and the chicken is actually quite tender and moist. Â Not sure how it is prepared, but most restaurants just prepare vats of the chicken, beef, or tofu unseasoned and throw it into a sauce depending on what you order. Â Might be a similar system here, but it actually tastes as if it has had the chance to marinate a little more. Â The sauce is nice and flavorful. Â
I may order from here again, but never for the sushi. Â And if it seems like a bad idea, it probably will be. Â Stuff like lobster or duck... save it for a sit down in a real restaurant.
