My family and I are regulars at Puccini's at lunch and dinner. For lunch, it's hard to beat the lunch combo (Friday is double pepperoni!) or a large dinner salad with chicken and minestrone soup. In the evening, we like to order pizza (Margherita or king of hearts), one of their giant calzones, or a delicious pasta dish (like the basil pesto or the spicy diavolo). Â Service is the friendliest you will find in town and among the quickest, too.
Review Source:We eat here on a regular basis. Their lunch special is a very good bargain. Service is good with a very friendly waiters. While the Hawaiian style pizza is my favorite I have found the ham (Canadian bacon) and cheese sandwich to be very satisfying. Great place to watch the foot traffic in downtown Columbus; it's been especially interesting with the Fourth street renovation.
Review Source:It was a less than average experience. Â Our waiter, who seemed to be a manager, wasn't overly friendly. Â He seemed bothered. Â Not sure about what. Â The food was ok but not memorable. Â I told my wife that if I spend a little bit of money for a meal... I want it to be really good, unique, and memorable. Â This was just average.
Review Source:Went here for lunch and received by far the friendliest service I've experienced for a long time! Â Ordered a lunch pizza (not a slice) and salad and had food in hand in less than 10 minutes. Â Pizza was very good - but I can't say its the best in town. Â They offer two pizza-by-the-slice flavors per day during lunch - the rotation can be found on their website. Â If you aren't interested in their slice pizza, you can order a pizza during lunch like I did. Â One thing was one a little disappointing is their salad choices are limited to House and Caesar during lunch - neither of which looked as appealing as some of their dinner salad choices. Â Parking during weekday lunch is a bit tricky because downtown Columbus is pretty crowded. Â Overall, I liked the place and will put it into my regular lunch rotation
