Best patio space in Addison. That said...service acceptable, sometimes. Some of the food is great. Grilled oysters, ribs, and pizza. The rest pretty ok. The staff is nice enough, just have NO sense of urgency. If you are really laid back,  you may just love this place.

My friend had a birthday party at the quarter; she reserved a table a month in advance. We got to the quarter and was told her table was given away since she did not call them back with a confirmation. My friend never received a call from any of the staff members. Later we were told we could have the patio and they would open up the bar outside. The bartender we had was very rude and drinks were about $8 to $9 which cost more than drinks at a nice club.

If you are not a smoker and can't stand the smell of smoke this place is definitely not for you.  When I got home I smelled like an ashtray and immediately threw all my clothes in the wash. I felt sick for two days!

Saint Bar, always a pretty good size crowd open tell 2am.  The Owner and staff seems nice. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth to get a drink when they are busy. It has a odd floor plain that makes it hard for the wait staff I think. Plus it seems like they are sometimes understaffed. It can be a very fun party it you don't lose your buzz waiting on another beer. I really wanted to give them three stars because of the slow drink issue but I couldn't do it. I've always had a great time there and hell It's almost always my second bar of the night so I'm plenty drunk when I get there.

    Few things to watch for.

1st-There is a guy that sells bootleg movies in the bathroom. His movies are of good quality, couldn't even tell they were bootlegs. Don't forget you can talk him down on his price. He starts out on the high end but will come way down.

2nd- Things can get a bit rowdy at times. Babies momma drama and what not.

3rd - The closer you set the the karaoke stage the better time you will have. Great people watching. There are a few regular acts on the Karaoke stage that are must see.

4th- If your there on NYE don't buy there silly package thing. Rip off.

Cool place to hang out with friends for karaoke, but this place is way too smokey.

A friend had made reservations for a big group on a Saturday evening, and the bar gave up the table when we walked in a few minutes late.   Talk about bad customer service.  So, to make it up, they tried to give us the heated patio and our own bartender which was isolated from the bar.  You couldn't even participate inside the bar unless you walked in.  Finally, they gave us our tables, and we were inside.

They have daily specials on drinks, but be prepared to pay $9-$10 on handmade hurricane drinks.

Its sooo comfortable sitting on the patio.  We shall return.  They close at 2am every night or morning?  Well it's been hard to find a place open later than 9pm on a weekday. This will be the go to place when we get hungry or thirsty at a late hour!

Never really been a huge fan of this place.... Every time we go the service is slow, the drinks are pretty weak and the bartender, whoever it may be, is always rude!!!  Pizza is tasty, and the karoake is always a good time.... Other than that, I would never come back!

Way too smokey.  Not a place for a non-smoker.

This is a place where everybody knows you name... And you've never been there before.

Seriously the first time I went with a couple of coworkers. The bartender approached me with, "The usual, right?" and started talking to me like I knew him. I never found out if it was a service industry joke or if he was drunk?

Anyway the service is pretty bad, even on slow nights. Odd group of customers, most seem like wino's. Plenty of other places to waste your money.

I love this place! They have karaoke Fridays & a large patio with an outdoor bar.  The Chocolate Dream Martinis are the best! Just wish they had a bigger parking lot.

Probably by far the most RACIST bar/place I have ever been to.  Horrible service.  Felt like I went to a bar in the 1900's.  Two friends and I walked into this bar, walked and sat up at the bar.  We respectfully sat there waiting on the bartender to finish what he was doing and to acknowledge that we were there.  Not so much as a hi, hello or a welcome, and he was literally right in front of us filling someones drink.  There were only 6 other people at the bar and another lady bartender.  The bartender finished filling the persons drink, then looked at us, looked away and started to chat with another guy.  I had my hands on the bar with my credit card in hand, staring at the bartender.  He ignored us for 15 mins.  The other bartender starts walking towards us.  I said hi to her as she looked at me, she ignored me also.  Walked right passed us and went to a white gentleman right next to us that had a full drink, asking if he needed another one.  Two white kids walked up to the bar right after and was served right away.  Will never go back to this place and will post this on as many forums as I can find.

Edit:  This was the correct Quarter Bar and Grill, in addison, next to Texas De Brazil.

I went here with a group of friends for some karaoke Saturday fun.  I don't karaoke (you're welcome) but enjoyed watching others, good and not so good, belt it out for my entertainment.  I didn't order food or drinks but the others I was with did and heard no complains.
Downside, and this is my Addison complaint, is smoking is allowed indoors.  I just don't like the stale day after smokey scent.

I've been there four times and each time I went the waitresses were busy fussing with their boyfriends...it made for great comedy but not so great service!  This is a tiny bar by bar standards unless you hang out on the patio. Be prepared to sit next to every stranger in the place. I'm not to happy about the drink prices, but beer is beer!

This place was partying so loud after we left the spot next door we had to drop in and give a NY 2012 shout out. Whoa!! We stood out like deers in highlights.

Now I see why the other spot moved in, to try and balance things out a bit. The Quarter Bar lacks a well rounded group of people. You think maybe that's how they came up with the name. ((lmbao))

But I must say they were having a good time celebrating NYE.. Cheers!

It's a damn hot box in here. If you're a non-smoker, you might have issues with The Quarter.

I can't remember which day is $3 Crowns. I like Crown and coke, some folks prefer it on the rocks. I want to say it's Wednesdays...although I can be wrong.

Big karaoke book for you drunken singers. It can get busy, so get your name on the list early. Definitely a fun time can be had here.

We stopped by here for a few drinks before we went to a birthday party, there were only a few people at the bar, my friend asked the bartender if they had any drink specials..and was met with the reply of " We don't need them on Saturday we are busy"...Really? did they teach you that in customer service school?,,,,,,,they do have $5.00 hurricanes..but is was more like a small rain shower.....so customer service, bad...drinks..not so good..at least hurricane....cheese fries...not too bad. there are too many other small neighborhood bars to go to in Addisson where they make you feel they are happy you came

I was hoping this would be a nice place to watch the Mavs play, but had to leave during our appetizer because of all the SMOKING. Inside smelled like smoke everywhere so I sat outside on the patio. It was nice until a man sat next to me and lit up a cigar. We had to leave after our chips and salsa. So I can't really judge how the food was. Doesn't appear there was a non-smoking section at all.

I'll just cut to the chase:

Pros - 1) Delicious roast beef po' boy with some equally tasty fries. 2) AMAZING drink specials that allowed us to drink like fish all afternoon on a Friday and STILL have money in the bank. 3) We could bring my friend's dog, and he's totally a magnet for hot guys. 4) Best damn patio in Addison.

Cons - 1) The waitresses ALL had on pants three sizes too small, causing outrageous muffin tops. One of them, we could not even speak to with a straight face. 2) The crawfish SUCKED! They were dirty, over-seasoned, little buggers. Gross! 3) Inside is smokey, and I hate karaoke night because my asshole of an exboyfriend is a regular there. Yeah, avoiding THAT! :)

Go to The Quarter. Hang on the patio. Have some cocktails. Hold your breath when you go to the bathroom. And never, ever feed the waitresses after midnight.

Food is good for a bar. They have fun karaoke on Sat nights. Drinks and food are decently priced.

I had a bad experience here my first time I went.  I ordered an Irish Coffee, and when the cream arrived, it was totally curdled.  Eeeew.

Then, we got our food, and it was mediocre.  Again, your standard bar food--nothing more, nothing less.

In Addison, there's probably a bunch of better places to go...  I'd probably skip this one.

Don't get me wrong. I liked the place. The first time we went they forgot to tell us what's not available on the menu. So when we ordered, we were told "Oh yeah, we don't have that."
    ??
Then when we got our bill, it was just a total. We were in a large party but do you make excuses for a place you are a customer?
The food was ok. The service was good.
I would have like to know what I was paying for without having to ask. I also would like to know what you don't have available to order without having to try more than once.

The Quarter Addison is awesome because, unlike it's Uptown location, you can actually sit and enjoy a drink inside or on the patio without feeling like a sardine in a can.

It's also got some of the best people watching in Addison. Don't believe me? Check 'em out on karaoke night. I promise you will see at least one of the following three people:

    1. A couple big dudes doing 'Bodies' by Drowning Pool - it's as bad as it sounds.
    2. A bachelorette party doing 'These boots are made for walking' that inevitably turns into a bunch of girls booty dancing on the stage to a completely different beat
    3. The Susan Boyle - a random, plain looking cat that will tear the place down with an amazing song (a couple weeks ago it was an older guy do a spot on Billie Jean complete with dance moves)

Add in a pretty solid menu (the pizza is especially tasty), some great drink deals and the coolest collection of bartenders and waitstaff north of 635 and it's a can't miss location.

I probably didn't get a real impression of this place, as we came here for July 3rd Kaboom town, but who knows? We ended up here for lack of parking anywhere else. The atmosphere was pretty cool, they put up a fence which enlarged the patio area, and we found some seats easily. It seemed like they weren't adequately staffed, so we ordered some food at the bar, a cheeseburger and some spinach artichoke dip. The burger was very good, tasted like it came right off a grill. I didn't think the dip was that great but my husband thought it was awesome. It took us forever to track down our waitress to pay, so that was frustrating, but overall a fun experience. The inside of the bar is pretty nice, but small.

How disappointing. The reviews made this place sound so great! I'll admit that my expectations of this place might be high since I'm from NOLA. But I was with people that weren't and they hated it too. Oysters were bland and over priced. Drinks were very weak. Po boys and gumbo were mediocre at best. Waitress was very inattentive. The bartender also decided to blast a hockey game (commercials and all) even though nobody was watching and several people asked for him to mute. Won't be coming back! Yuck!

I took a look and tried the menu the other day.. Holy cow the food here is AWSOME!!! They have fried crab claws, pizzas, gourmet sandwhiches and appetizers, meat pies, salads, artichoke dip which was amazing by the way..very good garlic flavor and lots of artichokes...I will be back for the oysters rockafeller!

Still not a fan of the indoor smoking, but other than that, this place is as good as it gets.

The bar service is excellent!  My bartender, Nick, was attentive and remembered what I was drinking... and the place was really busy.  Every single beer was ice cold and poured perfectly.  The music wasn't too loud, the TVs weren't too overpowering and they had a magician walking around doing tricks for everyone.  And I love the design of the bar.  It has 3 tiers, walls of glass and gorgeous wood details.  And the bar is the perfect height for tall people :)

If I lived in Addison, this place would become my Cheers, for sure!

New Year's Eve...night of amateurs and expensive no-fun parties.  I am very cynical when it comes to NYE and I usually want to do something low key.  When I found out that my football team was playing in a NYE bowl game I decided that I would just go to a sports bar to watch it.  My friends up in Addison had the same idea so they suggested the Quarter.  I called and found out they had karaoke and even a champagne toast and breakfast buffet that night.  OK sold, I'm IN!

We walked in at 6pm to the deadest bar ever.  The waitress looked confused to even have me there.  But I explained that we were there early and going to stay late and she seated us in a table down near the karaoke stage.  Perfect!  TVs were everywhere and she made sure the Chik fil A bowl was on so that we could watch my team disintegrate into nothingness.  Oh well, that's where the vodka comes in right?

At about 9pm the karaoke starts.  The guy doesn't have paper/pencil for you to sign up...you go tell him and he writes you down on a legal pad in order.  Yeah, not really the best karaoke setup I've ever seen but the song choices were good and the music went along with the words unlike at Outer Marker.  The only disappointment was that someone signed up for my jam (Humpty Dance is MY SONG BITCHES!!) but overall we had a great time.  And although it was busy, it wasn't insane busy which made it an enjoyable NYE!

The waitress was the BOMB.  She took care of us all night and even went to grab us some of the breakfast at midnight.  We may have ordered her some shots throughout the night as well.  Hey, she had to work on NYE, she deserves it.

Basically this was my kind of bar.  If I lived in Addison I would go here A LOT.  I would even accept an invite to go up there even though I don't live there!!!

Quarter Bar has a pretty good choice of food items on the menu.  My personal favorite is the build-your-own pizza.

They also have good drink specials and unique drinks.  If you love the taste of grape Kool-Aide, ask for their drink called the "Barney"... it's magically delicious!

It's not too rowdy, but it's a good local place for karaoke.  They are also VERY nice about hosting events there.  I had a 'girls karaoke night' and sent the manager an email and they reserved a table for us.

The wait staff is very attentive -- you won't be left with empty drinks!

Another great experience at the Quarter Bar. Such a friendly, fun place. The bartender tonight acknowledged my preferred libation upon seating at the bar, only after seeing him on this second visit. Friendly, humorous and very social. Wow! Woo Hoo, what a nice feeling!

Met a friend here, who called when leaving the work place asking me to meet him. Why not?  I'm up for a short HH.   Again, love the atmosphere, the service and the drink specials. I am a wine drinker, and luv it when I find a decent Merlot for HH prices @ $3.00. What a deal. Especially great when in my 'hood, just 7 minutes from home.

Have only dined here once; okay bar food, just what one would expect; but great service and nice menu options.

It's definitely a neighborhood dive/bar, but nicer than most. Not crowded when we go, i.e. 1700-1830. Bet it gets crowded after that.

Luv it, luv it. Some place I would feel comfortable going by myself if BF were not available.
