"No Beef- No Pork"....reads atop the menu. Well, I should be taking a break from that anyway.

Southshore....doing it quasi healthy! I am proud of you. I have never been to the actual place so i can only attest to what I have eaten from there. believe me when i tell you, fantastic. We ordered from here since its a hop skip and a jump away from my job. Some of the things we shared from this magnificent place: Dirty Rice, Turkey Burger, Mac and Cheese, and a peach lemonade to wash it all down.

Hells yeah! It was great. You know how turkey burgers tend to be dry? Not this one. It was juicy and perfectly seasoned and cooked on a (pretzel) bun with all the fixins you want on that bad boy. The dirty rice is made with turkey sausage and with a little zing to it. Try it.  The mac and cheese was what threw the wrench in this quasi healthy meal. It was worth every bite. It was cheesy, and the pasta was cooked just right, and tickled my pallate. Moving on to this peach lemonade. GET THE PEACH LEMONADE! Really, get it. It was so refreshing and I am almost positive they make that themselves.

We had an great lunch sans the beef and pork and we didn't miss it either.

Using our groupon, we tried the 71st St. Quench on a Thursday evening.  The restaurant was easily accessible because Lake Shore Dr./41 leads almost right to the door.  The restaurant is a healthier version of fast food, which pretty much amounts to a lot of turkey and seafood options.  My husband opted to try a turkey meatloaf dinner w/ garlic mashed and I had a texas bbq turkey burger w/ turkey bacon, fries w/ sauce, and a peach lemonade.  My meal was awesome; the burger was very tasty, the fries were very good (handcut w/ harolds-esque sauce), and the peach lemonade was stellar.  My husband's meal was also really good.  I can't wait to return.
