Let me start out by saying that the only two reasons I come back to this place are because there is no cover and the DJ is pretty good.  I love the music and the fact that the place isn't so big.
Now onto the negative.  The prices for drinks are absolutely ridiculous.  Wayyyy too expensive.  Also the crowd is not my type at all--poorly dressed, no class.  But hey, I bring a couple of friends and we make it a good time.

Uhhhhhh.... not really my crowd of people. The music was not really good ither and the prices for the drinks were overpriced. I ordered a shot of Tequila  and I don't even want to mention how much the price was for just a shot!!

The people over there was deffinatly not my crowd of people. I like more calm scene not hooligans and hoodlums in the club. They had a dress code which was cool but what the people wear doesn't define who they are.

My high school reunion was held here back in November 2012.  I disliked the place in November 2011, and it wasn't any better in November 2012.

The drinks were still Hollywood prices even though we're still in the Valley.

The doorman would have made me pay a cover charge if I didn't say I was with our high school reunion event.

Overall -- the place is still crap.  There are better establishments out there who are more than happy to earn your business!

I came here 5 times and this place sucks, vibe is low life with people that act ghetto and can kill your night. Im talking all 5 times I came. Not worth a minumum of 100 that u will spend here for that shit hole they even charge 20 to get in like its some hot big club!

I've been here a couple times. One time,  for a rented out birthday party for one of my friends. It was fun, hunky bar staff, clean bathrooms, chill music, no crazy unruly crowd.
Second time, took my cousin visiting out of town, sufficiently packed inside and outside area with some interesting characters. Had this guy tell me I looked as beautiful as his mom and whipped out his iphone to show me a pic of his mother (who by the way I looked nothing like, way to start a convo wierdo). Even though there was a lot of bizarre convos going on that night my cousin had fun thats all that mattered to me.
Third time, never had to pay a cover charge before but now they were charging for cover, this did not go over well with my group so I asked for Romeo one of the managers he popped up and recognized me , thus no cover charge for me and my girl friends. We get in, same hunky staff, nice dj, fast service but this time i remembered a lot more "stumble bumbles" this term was made up by me and my friend jackie after noticing a few older men swaying as if they were on a boat while trying to dance with cute young things to music they couldn't entirely catch the beat on. Once or twice I noticed them getting touchy feely so you saw a few games of tom and jerry between the stumble bumbles and pretty ladies trying to scurry away after it was too akward and creepy to bare. Only odd thing I didn't like... they were not asked to leave, making me believe they may have been friends of management or the owner?
Last time, still same cover charge and still same routine of getting a staff member I know to tell door man me and my girls don't pay. But this time I was left with a sour taste in my mouth there was this couple that was there before us and looked like they may have been waiting a while before we arrived. They door man completely looked them over the entire time only letting in more upscale-dressed waiting patrons that didn't look like they were from "the other side of the valley" (they were possibly trying out ventura blvd for the first time but looked completely sober & cold waiting for the doorman to acknowledge them) I felt bad walking in past them. Reminded me of why I don't treck to Hollywood anymore cuz of the "pooh pooh" atmosphere at a lot of the club/lounge doors. If stumble bumbles & co. could get in I didn't get why they had that couple standing outside, they never let them in.

This place doesn't even deserve a star, the only reason is because you cannot write a review without putting at least one star.  Do not ever go here!  We went to meet a girl friend for her birthday, she purchased many bottles so her friends can get in.  Well, we came to the front early so we would not have any issues getting in.  We spoke with a woman at the front door (Pardon my French, but what a bitch), she would not let us in to see our friend, she would not even look at the book to see if our friend had a table and bottles.  This girl wanted us to purchase a bottle right there at the door just to walk int he place.  It was unbelievable how we were treated at R Lounge....  We club all the time and purchase bottles almost everywhere we go, this place was was just wrong in every way, do not go there unless you want to get treated like crap.  We came in with 3 beautiful girls and 4 extremely well dressed guys to have some fun with some friends.  If you are planning a night to have fun with friends, DO NOT GO HERE!!!   I'M WARNING YOU, THIS PLACE IS THE WORST!!!

This place is horrible. Music is a miss or hit i guess because people said they had good music, but when i was there it was a totally opposite thing. The crowd they attract is not what i would spend my time with. Rather spend my time somewhere else.

    Never again.

Music sucked, and the crowd was questionable.  The staff, at least one bouncer in particular, thought it'd be funny to tell one of the girls in our group that she needed to leave without giving a reason, while physically nudging her to get moving towards the door, and after making her seriously upset to tears with the crap that was coming out of his mouth and demeanor towards her, he barks out "you've been punked!".  Very unprofessional, rude, and simply not worth spending your time or money here when there are so many better options.

Came here for a friend of a friend's birthday. It is very small, hot, interesting crowd.

If it wasn't for the music (which I loved), R Lounge would be a solid 2.

Came here for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. Place was busy, good looking people, music was great and it was a fun place to hang out. The only downside is that the drinks are very expensive. I even suspect once they served us water down vodka.

Mostly Persians and Armenians there. Make sure you are dressed to impress.

We got there before 10pm and there was no cover and didn't have to get bottle service.

I will be coming here again.

So here we meet again for a coworkers bday. Place is still looking good. It was 10p and the place was empty. I had sat down for a little bit at a table near the dance floor. While my gfs were buying their drinks, a Security came over to me and pointed out in an arrogant tone that this is a reserved table. The fact that he had physically pointed at the sign was uncalled for. I responded, I know and I slowly took my time before getting up to sit at a nonreserved area. Remnder: At the time, the place was empty.

Place is not happening until 1130. Many smokers in the patio. I had asked abt the 21% tip that was included from my last visit. They said that usually happens when your open tab is more than $70 and/or when you have a table bottle reservations. Strange because on my last visit my friend and I only had one drink. Note $20 dollar min on credit card, which is normal.

Observation: Waitress was looking pretty frumpy with her winter coat at a trendy lounge. Music was good with a male DJ. Bartenders were good lookin. Place had many Middle Eastern and African Am people. Oh and let me add by also mentioning a group of girls that were either barely 21 or under age that were laughing loudly, screaming and rolling around on the furniture was annoying. Even at one point my friends and I noticed a girl in that grp by the bar adjusting her underwear or something by lifting her dress where her unsightly cellulite thighs were visible. Ladies have some class.

    Dont Waste your time!!!
This place was full of under aged girls who were not carded and acting ANNOYING! Too many wannabees at this joint. A supposed upscale club yet the men were dressed in tennis or work boots, jeans and t-shirts. Drinks are over priced...it aint hollywood and a $10 cover?? really? to drink amongs Glendalers or underaged girls....and watch that tab because they may sneek an extra drink on it. The only place to sit are two love seats unless you buy bottle service....The posative things i can say about this place is that the bartenders were nice, the bouncer was polite, the decor is nice but lighting is way too bright for a club, and.... you get a free show of stupid drunkin girls falling over the booths or into the street by valet and showing their chocha.

Very modern bar with a dance floor and outside area to chill and smoke.

Each of these five stars are for the amazing music and for our bartender.

If the "R" in R-Lounge stands for "Ryan", I wouldn't be surprised since I've seriously never had so much fun watching a bartender work his magic and truly entertain everyone at the bar. And he's no "one-trick" pony, because those drinks were some of the best I've had in years (that fiery lemon creation was insanely good. as was that magical "The Matrix"esque 'Blue Pill' shot.

But what good are those amazing drinks if you don't have great music and a barely-not-too-crowded dance floor to take your girl out for a spin? (and believe me, we did).

I did see a lot of well dressed single guys and girls (in small groups of 2 and 3) having great success at the bar and on the floor. And with the layout of this place, I can see why it makes a great spot for good-looking singles who definitely don't want to EVER be caught leaning on the wall.

Will I be back? No question.

Second time here and it was fun and great.

I commend their effort to have an LGBT weekly night since more cool venues are needed and this fits the bill.

First night, opening night with Coco Peru and the Shine burlesque dancers was a treat. This was the first time I was her and she was very entertaining. She does comedy and sings and dances. What a combo! Be sure to go next time she is on the bill! And the dancers were simply eye candy. Fun!

It is a nice club with moderately priced drinks. I know based on other yelp reviews they've tried to make this an upscale hangout and even has a red carpet with velvet rope! In general those are scary to me but I was let right in! Am I an A lister of what? Lol.

Anyway cool place for alt crowd on Wednesday nights. I'll come again I know.

Cool upscale lounge ...  If you are into older women, COME HERE!

lol ... I felt as if I had walked into the cougars den!

    The DJ Both was nice, 2 CDJ's, 2 Technics 1200's and a Rane TTM57 ...

The vibe was real sexy ... no drunk belligerent girls sloshing their drinks around, no loud obnoxious jersey shore wannabes trying to get their FLEX on ... just cool sexy people having a good time ..

The people here seem very friendly and are more than willing to talk and dance ...

Please TIP the bathroom attendants ... They are real chill peeps ...

Great service and very attentive security ... The Security is MASSIVE ... One guy looked like Stone Cold Steve Austin, another one looked like Quest Love (From the roots) ON STEROIDS! ...

Celebrate your birthday here ... Its not all overly packed ...

There is an outdoor patio for you ash trays ...

    That is all ...

A real hit or miss location!

The people inside are mostly Armenian or Hispanic and when they dance they tend to take up all the space! The staff that works there is ok and the bartenders are usually friendly. Ive never waited long for a drink.

They try to be classier than they really are but which club doesnt?

It's a little small but all in all an ok place.

Watch out for that d-bag of a bouncer here who takes his job a little too seriously!

Had my 23-rd birthday here a year ago with a "table" to avoid Hollywood bull shit at the door for my guests. Thanks to that d-bag bouncer, most of my friends couldn't get in, and we're not even in Hollywood you piece of......!

Avoid this place. Too much drama and not even worth it.

I wish there was an option for no stars at all.
I had visit R lounge a couple of times before and I used to think it was pretty cool place, but after this past Friday I would never recommend this place to anyone. They treated my guest and I like like dirt before and after I decided to get bottle service. After 2 hours of being there they removed us from the table clamming our bottle was empty. I have never heard of a place doing such thing!!!!!Also the lady at the door told some of my guest they weren't up to dress code so they went to go change, but while waited for them i watched her let a couple of gentleman in with shoes and outfits like they just came out of the skater park. I would never visit this place and neither are my friends, I have been letting everyone I know how much this place sucks.

Kind of annoyed that R Lounge thinks they can charge Hollywood drink prices in freakin Studio City, but I guess they gotta pay for the chic furniture and that uber cool bartop.

The place is chic, for sure.  DJ was pretty decent, and at least the bartenders aren't shiesty with the pour.  I like that there are a lot of places to sit and lounge about.  I wonder what the crowd is like on other nights; I went on a Thursday night, and even with an event, it was pretty dead.  It's an amazing space, but management gotta figure out how to make the most of it...

I actually like the R Lounge, I don't love it but its a nice little lounge in the valley. Obviously its not a Hollywood club but I always seem to catch myself coming back here... I think the drinks are a little expensive but then again it is Los Angeles...Bottle service will run you a good 800 dollars for two bottles of goose I think...
Sometimes when the door people are being mean they tell you you can only come in if you get bottle service...
Depending on the DJ, the music is nice...
Depending on the night theres a different crowd...

Parking does suck so you might as well pay the $6 for valet if your wearing heels.
I have never had to pay a cover, but then again I'm not a man. The staff hasn't been rude to me, I find them to be mostly friendly. The owner is also nice.
    I like this lounge...

DO NOT even consider planning an event here.  This place is a joke.  My sister celebrated her birthday here and was placed in a shitty little corner. The "preferred guest list" is freakin ridiculous--you buy one bottle and it only gets you 6 people in.  Laaaame.  Buying a bottle at Boulevard 3 gets you in with more people!  I will say that the decor's not bad, and neither is the layout.  This place is just too caught up in trying to be a bougie Hollywood spot rather than realizing that you're on Ventura Blvd honey, not Cahuenga.  Calm down the f*** down and give that clip board a rest.  The people in the front need to learn how to manage their shit and stop being so rude.

    We aren't in Hollywood.

That's the easiest way to sum up this place.  It's like a very sub-par Falcon.  The first time I went there, just about a year ago when it opened, I was convinced it just might last.  At that time the crowd was good, but light.  The drinks were expensive, but easy to get and fast.  And the place was fresh and new.

Unfortunately, this place has aged horribly.  There is a very decent-sized patio area, but only one heater was working when we were there, as the temperature dipped into the mid-40s.  There seems to be some sort of fascination with using black industrial grade plastic trash bags to decorate the exterior walls.  Finally, there seemed to be some hoodlums that found their way inside that were smoking weed and not embarassed to show it.

Inside the crowd has gotten trashy, similar to the crowd at Halo or White Lotus or whatever that place is now called that's on Cahuenga in Hollywood.  Lots of fat guys with excessive jewelry, the aformentioned hoodlums smoking weed and no shortage of girls who travel in packs where 4 are hard to look at and 1 is hot.

I felt like this place had some solid momentum after the first time I went there and that it was only a matter of time before they adjusted their prices, got some solid promotion and packed the place with a good crowd.  Unfortunately, probably in an effort to keep it in the black, it has just gone downhill.

I don't go to many bars/lounges around this area so it was something different from the whole hollywood scene. First off its a pretty small place from the outside and you can easily miss it if not paying attention. Second parking is pretty tough. Valet is $6 unless you are one of the lucky ones to find street parking. No cover before 10:30 which is a plus. 10 bucks after.

R lounge is a pretty laid back fancy looking place. They have the main room with the bar in the middle and a small dance floor. They have a big patio on the outside for smokers as well as a bar. They also have an upstairs area which I didn't get to go to. Drinks are a rip here. Its your typical lounge prices for drinks but their glasses are so tiny you barely get much to drink. Crowds here are older in their 30s I would say. Dance floor gets pretty poppin as they play a mix of top 40s but mainly house. Fun place to just hang and relax with friends if you don't feel like going to Hollywood.

A few tips before heading here:
    *Free before 10:30 $10 after!
*Valet is $6, IF you're lucky there might be a slim possibility of finding street parking.

This place is fancy shamcy looking, but fairly small.  It doesn't get crowded here until 10:30. Drinks are average price at any other club or lounge you go to.  There is an inside bar and outside bar.  The music that they play changes from Top 40 to house to Top 40 throughout the night with a small dance floor.  The crowd is more for the "mature" as in 25+.

Overall I enjoyed my time here.  It's more of a place to hang out with friends and lounge rather than dance.

I only give this place 2 stars because it was nice.

Wouldn't be a bad place at all if it wasn't for the rude employees. They really were on a power trip, and wouldn't let some people in claiming they had fake IDs - it was really strange I've never seen a bouncer be so rude and condescending towards people.

I had called a few days before and asked if they had a cover charge, which oddly I was put on hold before they came up with the answer that no there is no cover charge. However, when they let us into the lounge they said there was a charge. So basically they completely lied.

They really were acting as though they are a really high end club in Hollywood or something. It was very unecessary.

I was there for a birthday so I did end up having a good time. I would definately never go back though.

PLEASE! Whatever you do, do not pay with your debit/credit card! See number 3 below as to why.

First time here and perhaps last time too.

    1) The door man was giving my friend trouble for wearing tennis shoes. I know he was asking for it, but in his defense, he had been here the night before wearing tennis shoes and was given no problems because his group got bottle service. It seems they will let things slide as long as you are dropping money.

    2) This place is way too small for the amount of people they let in. You hardly have any space to move, let alone dance, due to the huge square bar in the middle of the room. Total waste of space IMO.

    3) I started a tab once I got here. By midnight, my girl and I decide to leave and head over to Avalon. I had only ordered two drinks and had enough cash to pay my tab. I ask the bartender if she had charged my card. She replied no. Since she hadn't, I told her that I would actually be paying cash. She hands me my card, I give her cash and we go our separate ways. Next morning I receive about 5 calls from BofA's debit card protection. It seems there were some unusual charges. I log onto my online banking only to find out that R Lounge had charged my card over $300! Unfortunately, R Lounge did not answer any of my calls nor did they reply to any of my emails. I had to wait 5 days to go by so the pending charge would drop off. Needless to say, I had to transfer money around to cover their error or I would be faced with NSF fees. Be weary of what you are charged because it seems they swipe random cards.

This is another example of a place that has a great space but it's in the wrong location for what it is.  The club is well laid and out and comfortable.  But studio city is the rich yuppie suburb of the valley - it's never going to be hollywood.  So as a result the crowd in this place can look like somebody emptied a strip club in the valley on a tuesday afternoon.  Still with the right promoter or event this could be a cool place to party.

Also the bouncers here are total assholes.  They have that charming mongols motorcycle club look about them - I would try to avoid dealing with them as much as possible.

    Damn this place is swanky.

Got here early cuz the plan was to go bar hopping on Ventura and i was happily surprised with the good bar tending, the DJ was pinning hits from the 80s, 90s and today!!!

Great spot for a birthday celebration, there are enough couches and corner spots to feel like you are in a private area.

Had a great time and hit Firefly next...which was kinda crowded

Only ever been there on Wednesday nights (which is gay night) so cannot comment on the other evenings....

This spot used to be a gay bar called Apache. It was divey dirty and gross. The kind of place where you are afraid to shake anyone's hand for fear of catching something....... Apache was, thankfully, closed, and reopened as R Lounge.

I no longer feel scared to sit down. This place has a nice vibe to it, and is never over crowded. The drinks are cheap compared to the West Hollywood scene, the bartenders pour with a heavy hand, and there are no pretentious gym queens.
The crowd may be on the smaller side, but everyone is fun, friendly, and easy to talk to.

A good Wednesday night alternative to the cheesy WeHo grind.

So, it's 1:00 a.m., you're a valley girl and you aren't quite ready to call it a night just yet. Where do you go? Here!

It was a Friday and my friend and I left Boa and had to bring her sister home in the valley. We still wanted to have a few more drinks and cut a rug a little bit so we cabbed it to this place. Since we got there so damn late we didn't have to deal with the bullshit lines. No cover, no drama at the door. It's a small lounge, I wouldn't call it a club. When you enter the doors you walk through the patio/hallway that leads you into the building. There is a DJ and a small dance floor area. Music was good that night and tons of people dancing. A little too packed for comfort.
This dumb ass rude fuck knocked into my friends arm while we were on the dance floor, causing her to spill on herself. When he noticed, he didn't even offer to buy her another drink. He offered a hand of napkins. Cheap rude bastard. His girlfriend should have checked him.

I liked the bar the best, which was the focal point of the place. The bar is wrapped in black crocodile leather and the bartenders were super nice and attentive. I couldn't really give much of an opinion on the rest of the place, since it was so dark and by that time we've had a couple of drinks in our system and therefore, I wasn't paying attention to such details.

This Italian mafioso guy was standing next to me at the bar, all blinged out with flashy jewelry and a gangster accent.  He kept giving the bartender shit, claiming he didn't know how to mix his martini correctly. He was really rude to the poor guy, but I gotta give it to the bartender..he kept his cool even though he would be completely justified not to. Perhaps he too would rather ensure he would live to see the next day than to tempt a hot-headed mafioso. Thankfully his young arm candy returned from being out on the dance floor and he diverted his anger to her. He put her in her place and then some for "leaving him by his fucking self while she hoes it out on the dance floor with two other guys."  Bitch better stop messing around before she gets a hit placed on her head. Just sayin.'

All in all a decent place to go for a few drinks (although steep, about $12 for vodka soda) and a little dancing if you are too lazy (or it's too late) to get out of the valley.

The people that work here are stuck up and rude.

Came here Saturday night with two girls (my cousins, in fact). We waited for over half an hour only to be told that guys have to have a $45  minimum tab. What kind of crap is that?

Other people in the line were forced to buy bottles ($150 each) in the line in order to get in. Again, what kind of crap is that?

I'm gay and I was reminded of why I have such a hard time going to straight bars. Anyone want to change my mind with a better experience, please let me know.

Full disclosure here, I was in the same birthday fete of the reviewer below me, but I have to second, third and fourth her review with some choice words of my own.

So yes, our large (attractive!) group arrived early (10pm) and were immediately told we had no reservation. Strike 1. The birthday girl herself had to drop the name of the person she made the reservation with, and suddenly we were allowed in... but oh, only if we ordered TWO bottles. Wtf? Discord followed and we were told to wait to the left of the line while the bouncers and clipboard girl convened. We were granted entry (cue angel trumpets), but I was stopped and my ID questioned with the laughably condescending snarl of "What's your birthday, sweetheart?" I'm 2-f-ing-8 years old. Strike 2.

We find our little banquette and our server (poor girl was wedged into a tiny strapless dress and heels), immediately seemed disappointed by our one bottle of Absolut. Sorry, but $225 in THE VALLEY is ridiculous, so yes, we're ordering Absolute and just one bottle. That's the last I saw her... she attempted to pour some way too strong drinks (shocker- wasting our bottle), then I never saw her again.

Also, don't believe this "free bottle of champagne for birthdays" bs on their website and on Yelp. Clearly a ploy to get you in and overspend.

The rest of the night was enjoyable only because the bday girl was having a blast. The music was OK, it was never remotely crowded, the bartenders were surly and overall average. Some of the group did in fact get stuck outside in the forced line (I've lost count of strikes at this point), but eventually made it in.

After paying our share of the bottle, my boyfriend and I bailed to the valet line (mercifully only $6), only to hear an underage girl in a hideous Scary Spice circa 1996 ensemble whine to the valet about her friends ditching her because their fake IDs were better than hers. Suddenly the bouncer questioning my ID made a little more sense...

Umm, so maybe I'm lost, but I could have sworn this place is in Studio City and not Hollywood!  They are trying way too hard to be something they aren't... Ok, so we had a huge group for my roommates B-Day party, and we got there around 10, and after letting the doorman know we were gonna order bottle service they agreed to let our group of 8 or so people inside.  Great!  Now here is where the problems start.  All the other guests that were invited were either turned away at the door or told they would have to order bottle service in order to get inside, despite the fact that our group had already ordered bottle service and had a table.  This is Ventura Blvd. for crying out loud.  Where do they get off acting this way???  Our server was actually super nice, but the rest of the staff was so rude!

The Birthday girl had a great time though, so I suppose that's all that matters.  I just know I would never come back to this place again.  Trendy-wannabe spots are not my thing.  There are way too many other chill bars in Studio City/Sherman Oaks, so why would I waste my time and money at this place?  I doubt they will remain open for much longer with this kind of attitude.

Update:  Don't believe the hype!  They don't give you champagne on your Birthday.  What a load of B.S.!

This is as worst as it gets. I flew in from Frisco on a saturday for a friend's birthday party, we had a resevation for a party of 19 but only 12 of my friends were allowed to go in because they got there before 10pm. we got there 11pm and the security guys were not gonna allow us in until we paid $400 yes $400 cover charge per table. we couldnt believe it, this people told us they have reached maximum capacity and won't let anyone in unless we paid the $400 regardless of the fact that we had 3 tables in there for the party. My friend's birthday was ruined we had to turn around and leave, we ended up at hollywood and had a blast at Abbeys. It was after hanging outside for a little while that we figured what was going on-the guys at door are racists; they let all the white people in but wont let blacks and asians.
If you are planning an event do not include this place in your plans, you will be disappointed.

So, I had my birthday here last night April 8, 2010 (Actual Birthday too) The owner is a mutual friend of friend and the venue was highly recommended. It was great because, everyone pretty much lived close by so we didnt need to drive over the hill to get to Hollywood.

My friends, clients, coworkers, family members all came and were treated so kindly with respect by everyone from the bouncers, to the waitress the staff was beyond amazing!

The prices for bottle service were very reasonable and not to mention the drinks. I was treated like a princess and had the best hospitality by this club/lounge ever! I am into the Hollywood nightlife and know various club owners and lounge but, this place was beyond amazing because of their service.

The service of a club/venue is what I am looking for when I go out. And, to have such a great group of people from the sexy door men/bouncer who were very sweet & took care of everyone respectfully!

The DJ was a local radio station DJ who plays alot of hip-hop which I dont like we requested house/trance/dance music and amazingly he rocked the night with my requests!

Thank you once again looking forward to another celebration!

My friend and I showed up for a birthday event at 9pm and we were the the first ones in the building, which is a little awkward watching the employees clean up before you get served. the drink prices are ok. $10 for a glass of boring house wine....The decor is good. Music selection was good. The venue doesn't put the air conditioner on (which we learned from the bathroom attendant while the employees were getting ready). It gets very hot and humid inside. The outside patio smells like barf.  When we told two different employees their exact response was " Hey, I didn't do it"---This alarms me because two people had the same exact response as if they get this comment alot.

All in all, this was an ok place, if you bring good company you most likely will have a good time.

Came here for my bday on a sat. night at 11. Had about 17 or so ppl! :D and it was so much fun. I was on the guest list, but honestly I don't think that was necessary. There had been no line, ppl are the door were nice, no cover charge, just a $5 charge for valet. Great deal! Not like the $20 something in Hollywood.

There were some good looking ppl there, pretty surprised, wasn't sure how the crowd was going to be. But everyone seemed fairly friendly, no one too shady (guys I mean). lol

The place is a lil dark and I thought it was smaller than the pics make it out to be. But there was a small dance floor in the middle. Ppl were dancing which was nice. The music was good minus the crazy lil twang sound, if thats what you want to call it, that the dj played. It kind of threw me off. They played old music and new music. Which I personally like, b/c you can only hear so much beyonce single ladies etc.

The drink prices were decent too. I think around $20 something for 3 mixed drinks. However, they dont have irish car bombs! Big disappointment for me, i love those! :( boo: nevertheless, I couldnt or didnt have too much to complain about.

There is an outdoor area to sit and chat, nothing too fancy. Also one bar, there are tables around the bar and that go onto the floor. Though the seating was suppose to be reserved for ppl, but we sat there anyway.... But no big deal, there was some more around the place.

Overall, a nice experience, laid back, not pretencious, no hassles, small, but that was a good thing, a place where I could relax but have some fun at the same time.

I came here with a few friends on a thursday night and the place was really empty.  However, I hear that it gets really crowded on the weekends.  I was very impressed with the decor.  It's like going to a Hollywood venue without having to deal with the Hollywood bs.

The bartenders were very friendly and helpful.  The bouncer, on the other hand, was more on the unfriendly side.  He gave us some attitude at the front door.  My friend had also approached him and the owner about having this place as a potential venue for a birthday party and they weren't very accommdating.  I think they're trying to keep a certain image since it's a new club.

The music was good and I enjoyed the fact that there was a small dancefloor.  I'll definitely have to try this place out on a weekend.
