First off - RUN - You MUST get their chive, sea salt, & cracked black pepper ginormous biscuit! BEST ever. I know, you are thinking: Of everything on the menu that looks amazing, this is not even on the menu and you are telling me to run over there so I can get one of these before they are sold out and I am out of luck until they have the whim to make them again?! YES, yes I am. I am still thinking about this biscuit. And it has been 6 hours, 32 minutes, and 17 seconds. So yeah, I'm still thinking about it. Oh and the coconut dark chocolate macroon. Mmmmm! I ordered the Turkey sandwich which was tasty and the tom-kha soup. (I couldn't decide between the turkey or the burger so next will be the burger!) I will be back! (And I didn't give 5 stars b/c it makes me mad when I get a soup container that is only 1/2 full. And it was the tiny to go container. Seriously?! Fill that sucker up!! and because the turkey was a little dry which I was not expecting after the description from the girl at the counter. I went when they opened so maybe I got yesterday's turkey - it always dries out overnight.) PS - it is conveniently located near the Big 4 Bridge!

This place is amazing. The food was delicious; good portion size, temperatures were spot on, and the flavors were so fresh!

Can't really say if Relish was good or not.  My party of 3 attempted to eat there for lunch on Friday.  We walked in and there were 4 empty tables.  The hostess told us that the empty tables were for reservations only.  However, there is no mention of needing reservations on their website. I found the hostess to be pretentious.  Don't plan on going back.

Relish is top-notch. You say there's a new restaurant with an emphasis on health, simplicity and quality ingredients? I'm there! While I was excited to try this place out since it seemed up my alley as far as a refreshing lunch spot goes, I also knew there was a good chance for disappointment a la the folly of many restaurants that aim for the stars in regards to health and fine ingredients: small portions and high prices. Do you also have this concerns? Well, you won't be disappointed by what Relish had to offer.

I had the Tom Kha soup and the Pressed Ropa Vieja which is a cuban roll with brisket and manchego. I was delighted to see that the soup came with the sandwich and the cost was only $10. Even more impressive was the warmth and buttery richness of the sandwich. At a place that also features a quinoa salad on the menu, sometimes you might worry if you're a little bit more famished that you might not be able to get something that's really savory and filling. Not the case here! The Tom Kha is something I will come back for the full meal size as takeout sometime. That's the thing about this place: they serve lunch till 4 and then after that you can get some of their dishes as take-out. In every regard possible, this restaurant reminds me of a combination of Roots, Ghyslain and maybe there's a third piece I'm missing... must go back soon to figure it out.

Walking in for lunch on a weekday and being the only people under 40 or maybe even 50, I initially felt a little out of place but after being seated I felt very welcomed. The service was actually some of the best I've ever had - ever. Our server was very upbeat, friendly and it was clear she wanted us to have the best experience possible. She was firm in her recommendations and didn't pull that wishy-washy, "well everything's good" statement that's so easy to fall back on. The Tom Kha I ordered was all because of her and now I've found a delicious soup I'll probably be stocking up on every opportunity I get.

Went here for lunch this past Tuesday.  Staff was exceptional, great decor, and most of all, excellent food and drink.  I had a turkey sandwich with roasted red peppers and lentil chili. The chili was excellent, a nice blend of flavors.  My sandwich bread was exquisite and the contents were not overwhelming.  My friends raved about the wine selection, particularly the South African red. For dessert, we shared the cookie plate and the apple crisp. I really enjoyed the apple crisp.  An excellent option to counter the soup and sandwich.  Restaurant is a nice spot to have lunch along the river, with a very friendly atmosphere.  Definite recommendation.
