Pretty good food. Good choice of beers. Big bar area. Service is hit or miss. Burgers & fries are probably the best choice. Kobe beef available but pricey.

Called to see if dogs were welcome. Said yes but when we showed up not that friendly. Poor service food was good. Great sliders.

Management has done a good job creating a neighborhood watering hole. The food is more than adequate, the beer selection is great and the atmosphere is relaxing. The servers are excellent. If you live in the area, support this place!

The food doesn't disappoint and they have plenty of flat screens.

It's the 2nd time I've been here and it's not bad. The service is a little left to be desired for and you can only hope to get what you ordered.

I ordered an Angus Burger well done and was medium well. My friend got an Chipotle Bison with Avocado and Mushrooms medium well but got Avocado and Jalapenos medium rare.

You'd think it be quite simple to keep the orders straight but no. Otherwise it was good.

Try the Sex and the City Martini! Absolutely love!

All day happy hours on saturdays! (bar area only) It's a great hangout spot especially with some high school friends. The food is average bar food and drink specials are average drink specials. It doesn't get too crowded for early dinner but when it gets warmer it's really nice to eat/drink outside.

Service (for the table seating) is pretty awful but the bartenders (in the bar area) are pretty good.

A reasonable bar, but a poor music venue, and well-below-average food.

Checked this out on a recent Friday night (to see a friend's band).  They have every-Friday music, but the bar area is small and easily crowded, and the stage arranged such that servers going to the bar have to fight past people watching the music.

There are tables in the way also, barely any room to move much less dance-- very poor layout for music.  You'd think they'd do better since music is on their regular schedule.

We tried for a table for food, but a harried look hostess who was also bussing tables told us there was a 20 minute wait, and despite walking past us another 6 times, never actually stopped to put us on a wait-list, nor made eye-contact again.

We decided to order food at the bar.  Nachos w/steak were kinda edible, but very uninspired.  Blah flavors, not enough cheese, soft/stale chips..  Meh.  Calamari was worse, tasting like frozen microwaved (soggy. flavorless) and was served with something that tasted like sweet hoison sauce, which just doesn't match at all.

The older, more experienced-looking bartender made reasonable greygoose & tonics, with generous pours for $7 each.  He seemed pretty competent and is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1.

Other pluses: Easy access from MD-108 and Rt32, outdoor seating, free shopping-center parking.

    Overall-take: Not recommended.

I Love going here for Happy Hour.  The bar staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.  The bar fare is top notch IMHO. I usually stick with the Steak Tacos, very tasty mexican street style tacos at a great price.

They have a great craft beer selection that is constantly revolving so I make it a point to stop in weekly to sample the new beers on tap.

Pretty convenient location, with fast access to Rt 32.

Also a great place to go to watch sports, as they have pretty much every game.

So, if your looking for a classy, romantic place to have dinner, head elsewhere. But if your looking for a fun sports bar with great beer and above average food.  River Hill is the place to go.

I spent my summer in the Columbia, Md area this year -- don't ask me why-- so I heard through the grapevine that a local band was playing last night at the River Hill Sports Grille, so I made an appearance without any high expectations. I arrived and the crowd reminded me that I was not in Los Angeles anymore, they were in their early to mid- twentieths from what I could gather. I squeeze through the crowd and wait like a polar bear for a table close to the band playing - KB Drive (which has a lot of Socali influences, specially my dear Sublime) and they were pretty laid back and cool, no pseudo-rock star egos here.
My server was a sweet young lady named Julia who hustled and bustled to get me plenty of water and waited patiently for me to order something, which was off the menu, I asked her if there was a way I could get french fries with chili and cheese, and she told me she could work that out without rolling her eyes, +1 for Julia. The food came fast and super hot. I would return just because of Julia and KB Drive. The food was average, I could always use more chili in my life.

My work goes here for happy hour, particularly on Friday's for the $4 martinis, but I do not particularly care for the food. The crab dip has onions or something in it which I am not fond of and the bread is always kind of chewy and weird. My friends think the burgers are ok, and I really like the french fries. The cream of crab isn't anything to rave about, but it is edible.

During happy hour the bar area can become kind of overcrowded. I prefer the patio seating, especially when it is nice out. I also like that the windows in the restaurant part open all the way so indoor seating is almost like outdoor seating.

Service has always been kind of slow for us here, maybe it is because we come as a large crowd. I haven't ever had a server that seemed to have a great deal of experience

fist the service. the servers get a C rating but the bartenders get an A. i went yesterday now i could be mistaken but i sat at a table in bar area and the waiters were too busy talking amongst themselves to ever come over to my table. the bartender thou did and because he was we decided to move over to the bar. he was johnny on the spot with re-fills which is always a plus. granted the place was pretty empty but that just made it look worse for the servers. BTW this is the 3rd time that happened to me here so it not just isolated.

great bar if your going to have some brews and watch some sports. have been about 6 times in the last month and can say the food is OK at best. went yesterday and thought i'd have a cuban sandwich. it was basically a ham sandwich. the wings are great thou. i would advise staying away from any crab dishes as they have missed the mark on 3 diffrent occasions. the beer thou is cold and flowing, they have a wide variety and the bartenders are on the spot, you wont find yourself hurting for a refill. go for the beer, the great bartenders and night life.

Normal sports bar, nice and chill. They actually have really good wings! We did a wing tasting night, from here to copelands to clydes etc etc, and we like these the best!

Large portions and nice service. Lots of TV to watch whatever sports might be on when you are in there. Good happy hour!

This is a typical sports bar.  The food is nothing to write home about.  It has plenty of TVs for watching sports.  Service has been ok the times I have been there.

Best closest sports bar to Clarksville and points west.

i have been to this place twice in the last month or two, and they are just okay.
They have lots of beer on tap but it is the normal variety of beers, coors light, miller light, bud, etc.. with some local good ones like Loose Cannon.  They have a great happy hour 1/2 price apps and beer, wine, and rail drinks.  They also have games and activities each night, like trivia and DJ's and open mic night and i thought i saw a beer pong tournament.
The food is only okay, normal sports bar fare, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, wings, fried stuff, etc...
This place is good if you are looking to watch a game or get a cheap happy hour with friends, but not a real good place for a date or to impress someone.
