  Opened up near work just last week, and thankfully so!  The immediate area has been missing an indie coffee & sandwhich joint pretty badly. No question I'll be back to try their food. Had a chai latte to go. A little sweet to my taste, but pretty decent.
  
  The space feels hastily thrown together right now, but if they did a fast open instead of a grand open, I don't mind. One odd thing: the space is narrow and deep and you order all the way in the very back. If they get busy, the foot traffic could be disruptive.
  
  All in all, I'm looking forward to watching this shop evolve and build a group of regulars.

  Ordered a hummus and pita bread lunch and received the smallest amount of hummus I have ever seen with such an order. For 8.50, it's not worth it.

  This area was BADLY in need of something just like Robust Coffee Lounge. In every direction, there is a major coffee chain serving the same old drinks and frozen pastries that were dropped off weeks ago.  
  
  I have a feeling I'm going to be a regular here. Tried the latte, coffee, and thin mint blended drink and they were all extremely well made. Oh, and if you like the sound of a thin mint frap, make sure you go quickly while the cookies are still "in season"! :p
  
  I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other drinks, as well as their lunch options. Stay tuned for an update!

  I am so happy that Robust opened a location near my work!  Their first location is near my house, so now I can get Robust coffee morning, noon, and night.  ;) My "usual" caramel latte tastes exactly like the ones I get on the south side (DELICIOUS), and I think I'm liking the dessert options even better at this location.  I also think the room is more inviting here than at the south side location.  More cozy, more coffee-housey.  I'm giving it five stars, but I do have one gripe.  Their signage is impossible to see unless you are across the street on Ontario.  They need to extend the name onto the sides of their awning.  Otherwise, how will people know this awesome independent coffee shop exists in their neighborhood?  Fix that, Robust.  I want you around a long time!

  YAY!  Finally a coffee shop that isnt a humongo chain in the area.
