I went to the Chicago restaurant oh 2/24/13. I had the beer (which was good) and the nachos (which were also good).
At approximately 2:00 am, I was told it was time to go. Although I was given no notice to finish my food and drink by the wait staff, I was told by some bouncer that I had to leave. After I protested, saying that I wanted to finish my beer and food, the bouncer grabbed me and manhandled me out of the restaurant. There was no warning, no tolerance whatsoever.
He literally hit me over the head multiple times and dragged me out of the restaurant.
I had no problem with the food and beer. I've been there many times before and always enjoyed the beer. The food was pretty good before and tonight, but I can't say that I can accurately rate it.
What I can rate is the absolutely horrible bouncer. Apparently they get their rocks off by accosting paying customers. If I were you, I stay until about 1:30. After that, you should get out as quick as you can. Otherwise, some overzealous bounce might beat you over the head for merely paying your bill.
came here with friends....was pretty awesome.
We ordered alot of food...and there was a bit left to take home. Â And it isn't too far from the blue line stop. Â The barkeep was cool and our waitress afterwards was friendly and quite social.. not in a...'I am just being this way to get a bigger tip' but like she really was wondering how the food was and what we were doing with all of this camera equiptment.
